Thanks! I find it hilarious the amount of effort I put toward getting good photos with a real camera. Then a quick snap with my beat up pixel 6 makes one of my favorite pics so far
 
MK-4 Serial Number 00001 has landed as the first delivered Micron knife. This one went to my brother who has been flying around this slow plane.

MK-4 Serial Number 00002 went to my other brother, who is in the guard but more importantly lends his child to us to use as a prop for marketing purposes.

We just finished recording final hardness values and sharpening. Now onto cleaning and setting up for something we have yet to do, assembly and shipping.

Pretty nervous for tomorrow! We are dropping at 10am

Yes that's what I'm talking about!

We will never do preorders, no need to worry. We have also been working hard on the website to make sure it's impossible to buy more than what we have in stock. Hopefully it all goes well tomorrow!
 
We don't plan on assembling till a knife is ordered, too many different handle materials for that. It also makes it easy to cut up slabs of scale material and run whatever we have. The thought process there is we can sit on excess scales for a looooong time and reap the rewards of making large lots at a time

off to a good start...website bogged down with traffic..

edit part...I cant get in..website is locked up with im guessing too many buyers.....which is great for the micron crew......

ill try later if there is any left....

edit edit part..I see theyre working on site....missed that post before my edit...ill stick around see if I can get in

I would have liked to see ready built knives on the drop. As in click and buy - marked “sold out” when gone.

There would be over 45 different available combinations, we only have certain amounts of specific scales/sheath/blade materials so we needed a way to track inventory so we didnt sell something we didn't have ready to go. In the future we will have enough inventory to not worry about that!
