Microtech bringing out a new manual! Edit- 2 manuals actually!!!!

Looks sweet to me! They are calling it the Standard Issue, and its listed as made in USA. About everything I like in a manual. Sure they won't be easy to find.

M390mk steel created for Microtech is also listed for specs.
The steel is very intriguing. I’d like to know what sets it apart from “standard” m390. If they don’t ask belt prices, I may pick one up.

Looks like you may be able to actuate the lock similarly to the sharklock.
Edit: or it’s a safety.

I hope you're able to actuatee it from the top as well as the sides, kinda like a manual version of what they have on the Glykon. It should be doable with the way they have the spring setup, similar to what Benchmade did on the Anthem. I hope the similar setup doesn't cause IP issues with what Benchmade made for the Anthem.

Looks like full steel liners too, I'm really looking forward to this, I'm sure it's going to be a hit

Never really been super into autos so it's cool to see Microtech offer something like this. I am definitely intrigued. It has design elements that remind me of the Munroe Sigil that I lusted after for years. Also, as a lefty, really pleased to see the reversible pocket clip.

Thanks for posting! Was not aware of this.

This looks like such a great utilitarian design. Love wharncliffes! Microtech always comes out with such great designs.

I just HOPE TO GOD that this new tweaked M390 somehow overcomes the issues with edge retention that plague the industry at large.

From what I've seen, most large scale manufacturers using M390 screw up the HT and we're left with a lot of M390's performance potential left on the table as far as edge retention goes. It's such a shame as they often underperform knives of lesser edge retention potential.
