Microtech bringing out a new manual! Edit- 2 manuals actually!!!!

Am I the only one who thinks this is ugly as hell?
I really like most of their older designs(Ultratech, CT, Socom Elite) but their new offerings look like something you could buy at a gas station.

Who is building it then? I’ve not seen anything about another company building them. I could be out the loop though.

Now I think the guy who posted that info was mistaken. It sounds like the steel was custom made for Microtech, but I think the guy misinterpreted it as the whole knife was made for Microtech.

I'm conflicted on this one. I love the blade shape, hole opener, but hate the clip, and I don't like axis locks. I think I'll have to pass, unless the lock uses a coil spring and not omega springs.

Looks like an Axis style lock, but the spring is a coil, that runs along the lock's actuation track, same as a ball bearing lock, but uses the Axis style bar setup.

i'm just waiting for the MSRP sticker shock...bet it approaches 400.

A deep carry clip and micarta or wood scales and it would peak my interest. That M390mk should be interesting.

Sounds like a nice folder, and close to 4" at 5 ounces will give a nice feel in hand on a nice "utilitarian" profile. It's got my attention.

Hey! It's torx hardware! Only thing I see that could be annoying is how high the pocket clip rides.
