My 50 centz
What do you guys think??

I think you voided the warrant when you stripped the screw.

Probably. IT would have been nice to just have a couple sent to me. And I probably would have let it lay. But they kept saying I HAD to send it in. Oh well

Sorry DILATEDPEOPLES,

I think you are totally wrong.

Their policy is to have the knife sent in so they can see what happened.

And your title "Microtech - Micro-ASSES."

Is that fair?

Now you have DgrantD going everywhere saying MT customer service sucks.

And?? I am im my rights to say whatever I feel. I am not making any one say any thing. I think If you buy a 250 doller knife , that a 20 cent screw should be GIVEN to you . If they wanted to SEE what happened , why charge some one anything?? is not customer service a good selling point?? I am not the only one that has problems with them. So after I BUY a new blade. Why cant I have the old one back???? ITs mine I bought it with the first knife. I think they have crappy customer service. My opinion. Sorry brotha if you think IM in the wrong..

DILATEDPEOPLES,

First you say "the blade was kinda discolored" why did you strip the screw?

Then you said "I bought it from a dealer here, and just assumed that the warranty would cover things like that ya know?"

Discolored blade; yes, but a stripped screw that voided the warranty; no.

Then you said "I bought the Blade from an individual , And over the phone Micro-ass said they would replace it under the warranty."

Did you buy it from a dealer or individual and did you tell MT you stripped the screw?

Then you said "Dont know yet. Im waiting for it to get back to me" about the old blade.

Then you said "So after I BUY a new blade. Why cant I have the old one back????"

You said you didn't know if you were getting the old one back or not.

You said "I think If you buy a 250 doller knife , that a 20 cent screw should be GIVEN to you ."

Did you just ask for some screws?

You asked for our opinions and mine is that what you are saying just doesn't make any sense.

Try to get your story straight before you come here crying.

I have never had any problems with MT's customer service at all, every time I have called they are polite and take care of the problem even one that was my fault, but I had to send the knife in no big deal that's their policy, and I would guess it is their policy because if they send parts out and someone screws the knife up putting them in then they would want MT to fix it so I would guess MT's policy is to do it right themselves the 1st time, can't blame them.

What color was the blade? wasn't one of those green ones was it?

While if everything dilated is sayin is true, then thats to bad, I shouldnt of gotten involved at all. I was wrong in what I did. Sorry.
Mabye I will buy MT. Sorry for being an *******.

Grant

I imagine that if you were as courteous on the phone as you appear to be here, you were lucky they didn't hang up on your @$$.
I have dozens of MT's and never had a problem with any of them. I have also taken several apart, but then I'm not foolish enough to keep twisting a tool that is trying to move a LocTited fastener.....

MT will happily send out screws and the like if you ask nicely. Heck, even Turber would probably send you some for free!
