Microtech or Guardian Tactical?

Microtech and its owner have a history of shady behavior, which is enough for me to swear them off. Guardian makes great OTFs, and ProTech makes the best side-opening autos, so it’s not like you’re starved for choice.

Hahaha, shady behavior? What old news you want to bring up? Really, what dumb gossip would you like to focus on?

Anthony Marfione makes a great quality knife made in the USA with amazing people who work for him.

Guardian also makes a nice knife, they are just not for me. The designs just don't speak to me. Doesn't mean I feel the need to throw hate on another brand.

I swear, people find the dumbest things to pick at. Stay away from Microtech, more for the rest of us, they get hard to find because there is such a demand.

What's your opinion on Ganzo?

I believe that the vast majority of issues that Microtech has had have been related to the two times that they have moved their operations from state to state. I know how much confusion and mayhem this can cause, because I was working for American Shear Knife Company when they shut down operations in Pennsyvania and moved equipment to other facilities. And those shops already existed we just moved equipment to and from. It was still a major pain in the A$$. I have never had any issue with MT and have owned dozens of their knives over the past 25 or so years.

You'll not like my opinion if you persist with the trolling comments.
It may be confusing to you, how it works is you answer a question, then you can ask a different totally unrelated nonsensical question. Otherwise it looks like you lack the knowledge to back up your original drivel.
Let it go.

No, I'm genuinely interested in finding out whether you support Microtech and Tony Marfione despite their history of IP theft and patent infringement, but shout down Ganzo for doing the same thing.

This thread has nothing to do with IP theft... stop the thread derailment.

If you want to compare Microtech, Ganzo and IP theft, start your own thread.

I have a whole bunch of microtech knives, side openers , manual and auto, and a bunch of their otfs. All have been excellent. I have heard good things about Guardian tactical, I’m sure I’ll try one of theirs at some point.

the ball bearing thing makes sense to me for the GT knives....the ugly arse chicken foot on the side of the MT knife makes me puke a little in my mouth every time i look at a Microtech....and as stated previously, no one should have to buy a special tool to take apart and clean/maintain their knife...
