U.S. Paratrooper. 85-89 3rd Brigade 82nd Airborne Div. MOS 11B1P. Sniper qualified, and for you old folks that might remember the old jungle training school in Panama JOTC. Participated in several deployments to central America during the 80's, culminating in the invasion of Panama. Airborne all the way!!
 
I'll second Jim's thank you. There was never any question that I would be a Marine (a career in the Marine Corps was a family tradition going way back). The thought of being drafted never even occurred to me back in '63. Like Jim, serving was just the right thing to do.

What units? We may have served together, or at least worked with each other. I was an 0411 (98-03) although I probably only spent about 3 hrs a week at that job. I worked at Regt. level the whole time ( with a couple of 2-3 month exceptions) so I spent most of my time embarking.
