There are already a ton of smaller knives available. The PM2 is just right. But I would also like a 4" blade version.
Rev i believe Spyderco has already satisfied your request with Military, which has 4" blade??

I've been thinking that same exact thing. I don't carry a PM2 regularly everyday because of the handle size in pocket. Not that it's horrible by any means! But implementing a similar concept to the successful BM Griptilian and Mini Grip could be VERY lucrative IMO. Same knife proportions and features, just slightly smaller size.
By including the work "but", that allows for the introduction of a contrasting idea. It was intentionally done.It seems to me sir, that your last two sentences contradict each other
I'll buy as many size variations of the PM that Spyderco is willing to make.
Upper choil? That might be the hump on most blades with this shape. Military, Para, Delica, Endura, etc. Maybe a Sage would be more appropriate at around 3".But where is a smaller knife with the lock that the pm2 has and upper and lower finger choils?

some people like pocket knives and others prefer pocket swords lol.
i love the pm2 size personally but a smaller (or larger) version would easily be a hot seller.
for people that came up carrying traditionals and SAKs, i can see why a pm2 might seem a little big for certain folks...
Some folks wouldn't even have to have been brought up carrying traditionals and SAKs to feel that way.for people that came up carrying traditionals and SAKs, i can see why a pm2 might seem a little big for certain folks...
We've got a shorter para 2 in R&D. Being refined now. Heigth, cockpit and thickness are the same, just shorter at both ends.

I was wondering why it wasn't thought of you win can't wait for it if it comes to production
The idea came from a forumite that had his modified.
Initial reaction in R&D was "why?", but after much thought, (we do that in our R&D mtgs, sometimes it gets hairy), we decided to work up a proto and go from there. Not much chance of squeezing it in in the near future, with current demand and few new pieces already scheduled in (black auto, Shaman) the production schedule. Plus we have a variety of variations of current models in-the-works for exclusives as well as for us.

Would that be similar to the Rookie that was discontinued a few years back now.
I liked the Rookie as it like a mini-me version of the Millie. At least to me anyways.![]()
