Hello everyone,

I want to thank everyone here for posting and making this such a great place to be. I don't post a lot but enjoy the positive environment that everyone here has made it to be.
I want to offer a very lightly used Case Mini red Trapper to the winner of a photo contest. This is open to everyone who posts a photo of an outdoor scene such as landscapes, camping trips, your backyard, your dog in the snow, a sunset etc... Just has to be outside. Photos must have a brief description of the scene.

The winner will be chosen randomly on Monday the 17th.

Good Luck to everyone and thanks for playing!

Thanks for the chance! This is from a few years ago on a backpacking trip on northern Minnesota's Superior Hiking Trail. I'm on the left.

Here's a pic of the cliff above the snow park we were at on Jan. 1st. It's our New Year's tradition to go to the snow.

Thanks for the chance brother!

Two shots of my fishing hole. This is pretty much my favorite easily accessible place. A beautiful lake. Some good fishing on occasion and some good reminders that fish are fickle, too. I like the shot of the lake, and there is something about that downed tree. (Couldn't decide) ;)

Thanks for the chance. I'll toss in two just because these never get seen anymore. I walked away from photography, eventually trashing the transparencies these came from.

This one is from some experimental work I was doing when I lived in Oregon.

There was a Rendezvous being held at a state park not far from Sherwood, Oregon where I lived. Loving muzzle loaders and things mountainy man me and my camera had to go.

I must have spent an hour or more on this post just finding these old images on the computer, selecting which ones, and getting them uploaded.

I did enjoy seeing them again and am enjoying seeing everyone else's stuff.

LKJW I want to live at your fishing hole. Just not in California. Could they move the state line please.

Thanks for the giveaway!

Not an entry, but I'll put a picture up anyway. I have far too many pictures that I like, so I'll limit it to pictures I took last summer. This is in Lake Basin in the middle of Kings Canyon NP. There are no trails to this area, and we had it all to ourselves.

This is a pic of me and my son on a day out in Utah. The waterfall is Bridal Veil Falls in Provo canyon.

Went on some back roads, hiked some mountain meadows, saw some snakes, a group of wild turkeys, and climbed the falls at the end.

Rubber boa on the way up the falls

It was a great day.

The mountains are part of the Uinta mountains range. It is federal land.
