There is one picture among these many fine ones that has pretty much left me scarred for life.

haha - thanks and, yeah, i think i did get a bum one. i bought one of the the reproduction Dianas a few years back and it gets surprisingly clear shots. however, i think i still prefer the crap shoot that is the Holga :D:thumbup:

the shutter that was hung up was an FM2 which had worked perfectly since purchased new in '97. ah well, the joy of film is still worth it

LOL, my shutter problem was on an FM. When it was cleaned & lubed it in Oregon they lubed it a little too well. In the Texas heat some of the lube had gotten on the shutter blades. I finally got brave and spent some time wiping and cycling. Got it back up to speed and it gave good service until I sold it.

I get a niggling urge to get back into photography now and then, just for me. Maybe someday.

By an online random number generators the winner has been chosen...."drum roll here"...........And the winner is "Railsplitter"!!! Thanks to everyone for posting such great photos! Some of you have been to some awe inspiring places and some are quite the photographer!!

That's exactly what I said the first time I won a knife here.

Thanks for a great giveaway Grant.

:thumbup:This was a great giveaway!!!

Congratulations to you Railsplitter. I'm betting you really like that mini trapper.

Ed

Congrats Railsplitter!

Fn thread with a lot of good pictures. Thank you, PocketEdge!

Thanks Grant. Was great sharing and seeing other's pics.

Congrats, Rick! I predict you will love the mini-trapper. I ended up with mine because I didn't notice the "mini" in the description of an auction I saw and bid on in the last moments. Wasn't until I'd won that I realized it wasn't a full sized trapper. Best mistake I ever made. That mini is now one of my favorite carrying knives. Enjoy!

Btw, Grant and all. This may end up costing me money. I've getting the urge to step back to photography again. Can't get digital equipment at a level I'd be happy with (too many $$$), but been playing with the idea of finding a good deal on a medium format SLR setup and then having the film go from development directly to scan by a good lab. Or maybe just get some good, manual focus 35mm gear like a Canon A-1 or F-1, or Nikon FM2, F4s, or the like and do the same. Have kept my Bogen tripod all these years.

You guys are a bad influence. ;)
