Great giveaway. Like yourself, I'm more of a lurker than a poster, especially on this sub forum. I don't really know anything about traditional folders, so I usually just keep my mouth shut and try to learn.

Here's a picture from Naruko Gorge in Miyagi, Japan. The autumn colours (Kouyou) were just starting and it was a beautiful, crisp, clear day.
About an hour after I took this pic, a rockfall badly injured two hikers and the gorge was closed for the rest of the season.

Great idea, thanks for the chance to win a cool knife.
This pic is me at one of my favorite riding places in Northern NJ.
It's a medium difficulty climb that I make about 50% of the time.
This time I made it.
It's fall, my favorite time of year to ride.

Catfishing on the Mississippi last summer. Caught the moon rising over the trees.

Thanks for the chance on your giveaway. Some outstanding pictures posted here.
During drought conditions last summer, this thirsty wasp was attracted to the moisture lurking in a hibiscus blossom in my back yard.

Thanks for the great chance!

This is a pic of our loved Rotty Heidi the winter before she died of bone cancer.
She loved the snow.

I'm in for this. You can't have too many mini trappers.

Wow, there sure are some beautiful pictures that have been posted here. Here's a picture I snapped at dawn at Algonquin Park. It is not retouched in the slightest; the colours were really vivid that morning. Many thanks for the chance!

Tunnel Chute. North Fork, American River, California. 4th of July 2008, basically a month after I got back from deployment. More fun than fireworks. I'm not really sure which paddle is mine.

If you ever get the chance to go up in CA's Gold Rush country; do it. While I love Sequoia and the east side of the mountains, the chance to see the old areas is not to be missed. A lot of the old mines are still there, as is a fair amount of gear.

Mike, check out the hat I'm wearing i the picture of the trout - Algonquin. I LOVE that place! Go fishing there once and you'll never want to go anywhere else. Too bad its a 13 hr drive from New Jersey.

Wow those are all some great pictures you guys.
I have some pictures of the Okefenokee Swamp on my facebook and website, not as cool as the mountains but very peaceful. If you ever come thru south Georgia check it out.

A thick stand of Evergreens about a mile from my house, taken right after the last snowstorm about a week ago.
