Mini Trapper Givaway

Mike, check out the hat I'm wearing i the picture of the trout - Algonquin. I LOVE that place! Go fishing there once and you'll never want to go anywhere else. Too bad its a 13 hr drive from New Jersey.

Algonquin has totally spoiled me for camping, hiking, canoeing and just about everything else. I spend at least a week there every summer and I absolutely love it. It's a shame it's so far from NJ, but I have met Americans there from all over the place. It's great to hear some folks south of the border enjoy it as much as I do!

Great shot taken from the tower of the lead bird of a 6 ship formation. Mount Fuji in the background. Thanks for the opportunity.

Hey there Grant, Great offer-please dont include me-as much as this is a most generous giveaway-I have been the lucky recipient of forum kindness here a few times :)....but could I bang a couple of photos up!
Excellent photos everyone..wow!!!...I wish I could get out and see more of this beautifull world...
Here are a few photos of Sue and I ...this was a couple of years ago, and it was a 5 day trip kayaking through National Park - Wanganui, New Zealand.
The trip stared horrendously-it was fair hosing down-we capsized-got soaked through..., finally made it to a flat spot of ground-pitched a tent up...soaked, tired ( we kayaked 32 k's the first day on flat water-man that was tough work ), and woke up to it again...thundering down with rain, Sue was ready to throw in the towel...but that afternoon-it became a beautiful day, and stayed that way...did around 30 k's a day.....

Im sitting in the back of the Canoe ( doing all the work lol.. )

During our breaks we trecked through on walks..

This is called the bridge to nowhere....a great story goes with this how they tied horses etc and strung them over to the other side ...man...it is a biiiiiig drop down..
041.jpg

A mate I made on the way :)..this little bugger would end up grabing your lip and climbing nearly right in your mouth just about...he was a realy cheeky little fella, I was sorry to leave him...( sorry about showing you my gob!! )

Have a great day folks.

Thanks for the chance.

This Osprey landed in a dead tree in my backyard last week and spent over an hour eating a fish it caught. I got my camera to take this photo near the end of his meal. We live on a small pond and occasionally kayak on it. The water brings a good bit of wildlife into the backyard (herons, egrets, snakes, turtles, raccoons, even a bobcat once...)

I was going to school on spring morning when I saw this one running. Lucky me, that I had camera with me. I like this one personally alot. Its one of my first good wild animal photos.

Spring is beautiful season as snow and ice is melting and creating beautiful scenes like laced ice.

I tested magnifying rings I got from my brother. They work rather well. This is from my friends cabin when we were barbequing there. Bit over exposed perhaps but pretty good test shot.

Nothing special this. I just like this one. Shot was taken from bridge crossing town bay.

This sunset was taken when there were vulcanic erruptions in Siberia making colors stand out.

Thanks for the 6207 giveaway.
Here a few of my favorite outside pics.
First is a winter sunrise from a few years ago.

Here are three of mine. I don't take many pictures, but these were two times when I just needed a picture of my surroundings.

First one was on a drift fishing boat with my dad off of Fort Lauderdale beach in Florida.

The next two was from the morning I arrived in Ocho Rios Jamaica.

i'm in. thanks for the chance, PocketEdge

i was helping my buddy move from NY to CA. we drove across country over 8 days. i took about 10 rolls of film over the week but when i went to get them developed in CA, they were all blown out and overexposed beyond recognition due to a broken shutter i was not aware of. thankfully, i took a couple of backup cameras along for occasional photo tries. here's a shot i got in Death Valley on a plastic Diana camera:

thanks again

Fester here from NZ. No mountain vistas or babbling brooks. But here is a hind I caught showering in our clearing.. NORTHERN KAIMANAWAS...As natural as it gets.

Ah, the glorious, cult legend of fine art photographers, the Diana! I was never fortunate to have one. The best I could manage was the successor, the Holga.

The image is too clear. ;) Looks like you got a bum one. :p Nice image.

Bummer on the shutter. A dragging shutter on an old Nikon got me in trouble once with an editor once. Also had all the pics I'd taken on the way from Ft. Bragg, NC driving to Ft. Wainwright, AK get mixed up by the processor with someone elses. We never did any of those images.

I may be a little late to the party, but here's my entry. This is from a cold morning during a scout campout last fall in east Texas.

Here's one from our vacation to the Phoenix area last January. We headed up the mountains to Sedona and caught some beautiful scenery along the way.
On our way up, the temperature dropped from 65 to 35 degrees in about 45 minutes.

haha - thanks and, yeah, i think i did get a bum one. i bought one of the the reproduction Dianas a few years back and it gets surprisingly clear shots. however, i think i still prefer the crap shoot that is the Holga :D:thumbup:

the shutter that was hung up was an FM2 which had worked perfectly since purchased new in '97. ah well, the joy of film is still worth it
