You might give the seller a link to this thread if you haven't already. (If you have the link will still work even though I've moved the thread to TGB&U.) We have over 80,000 potential customers here and every one of us knows that knife cannot honestly be described as mint.
If I thought for one minute that it would make a difference to him,I would send a link to him. The man is an instant expert in his mind and he just doesn't care what we think. All these great guys who have supported my efforts with super efforts of thier own have all recieved the same answer,( "I don't Care" )from him. I just don't want to talk to him anymore. I get really bad thoughts of wanting to revert to my old ways of dealing with people like him every time I email him. I pitty the poor soul. He has until the 27th of this month to respond to Paypal with a contest or agreement to refund. Until then I'm gonna try to put the guy out of my mind.A special thanks to all of you awesome men who have went beyond the call for a guy you don't even know. You're the best!!!! I don't know exactly how this will end because I didn't ask for a full refund. I asked for a partial refund. I paid $3.25 for shipping already,if I ship it back I would want some sort of dilivery confirmation and I would have to pay for that as well.To have nothing to show for my shipping costs at the end seems wrong. Yes I would have the purchase price back but he wouldn't learn anything either. He'd just wait a few months and list it again on ebay because he thinks he is right and he is hardheaded. Then someone else would be in the same boat I'm in. I suppose no one really wins in these stuations,but I would like him to learn a lesson during all of this. Maybe you're right,I don't know. i dont know what that knife cost ya, but shipping shouldnt be over $8 or so, it's been my experience a lot of folks dont like to do partial refunds (though i dont have a clue what this situation might be) for whatever reason, ive heard that before, anyway like i say i would send the thing back and get my $$ back and go on with life, just seems to me to be to easy a situation to get out of,

If you've bought 45 knives from this guy, and that's the reponse he gives you, he must be insane.
I appreciate your honesty in your opinion. And i am inclined to do just that,except that it could possably mean that someone else might suffer the same fate if he is not held accountable. He doesn't even care that he made a mistake,he has no responsability. I feel like I would be subjecting a lot of people to a risk if I just gave in when I have the opportunity to at least exspose him to Paypal and ebay. So far he has not responded to paypal either. I don't care what his Ebay rating is, search the various knife forums on the web for "sportcolbs" and you'll find he is well known for selling fakes.

Take a 1st issue comic or baseball card in crappy condition to a dealer and tell him to pay you mint price for it because it got messed up at the factory. This guy is a weasel, plain and simple. If he was honest he wopuld have simply put cosmetic dammage from factory as that is an accurate description. Hope you get your money back.
