Here are a few pics of me and my sons trip to Port O'Connor, TX. We fished with another friend and his son. We caught lots of Bull Redfish, and sharks. We caught about an 8ft hammerhead, and a 6ft bull shark on this trip, with lots of 4-6ft blacktips. Enjoy the pics. :D

Our big hammerhead.

This is one of the better keeper blacktips. Blacktip steaks are WONDERFUL on the grill.

We caught several of these mega jackfish too. They would put on powerful screaming runs. Awesome gamefish to fight!!

Here is a Cobia(Ling) that I caught on a trip to Port O'Connor. Excellent eating fish. And, will test your tackle to the limit!

We like bass fishing too. This bass came from our neighbors pond.

Thanks guy's. I make an annual run to Port O'Connor with a friend of mine and his son. I always take one of my kiddo's with me. Here are some pics of a trip I made with my youngest son.

Here he is fighting a good shark.

This is the shark he was fighting. We already had our one shark a piece. So we cut this one loose.

We are pretty lucky in that we've been able to travel all across Texas to fish and hunt. Here is one of the better bass that Matt has caught. He caught the fish in a stock tank on a West Texas Ranch near Post, TX.

On that same trip my wife caught a real nice bass in a different tank on the same ranch. And, if you notice, she's a pistol packing momma. That ranch is in the middle of nowhere with lots of snakes and critters. So, we both were packing heat everywhere we went on the ranch. We killed 5 rattle snakes on that trip.

Man! These are great photos. Wish I could go on a trip like that.

I was able to get out today and do a little fishing. The weather was nice and the fish were willing I just wasn't all that able today. I got between 6 & 8 bites but only landed 3. That's how it goes sometimes. I know people make fun of fishermen for their "the one that got away" stories but I did lose a nice fish this afternoon on a spinnerbait. I didn't have my drag set properly (to loose) so therefore I didn't get a solid hookset and the fish came off. Anyway as I said I had an excellent afternoon on the water and here are a few I was able to land.

Nice Bass! I am going crazy to fish, there is no open water around here yet, about a month to go for me.

I don't know how I would make it through an entire winter with ZERO fishing. I feel your pain buddy, hope it goes by fast for you.

Had a decent day today, caught 7 total, 6 on a Spro Fat John crankbait in Cell Mate color and one flipping a Pit Boss in greenpumpkin green flake. None of them were big but I had a great time catching them.

Nice pics everyone!! I love seeing all the different species being caught. I wish I could catch some of those lobsters!!:D

Here are a few fly-fishing pictures I have laying around in my photobucket. Various fish from over the years.

Green River, Utah below Flaming Gorge Dam.

For some odd reason, I do not tend to get pictures of the fish I catch while spin fishing, trolling, bait, etc. Hmm. Only exceptions to that rule seem to be the occasional large ones, like this 28" Walleye my Dad caught a couple seasons back.

We had a GOOD night!!! :D
