Missed out on an AH-1

I love BFC and fixer is a tool. There I did it. Guys just wait I had the same question for Kevin the other day and to make matters worse I got my email 6 hours later. Boy did I feel like a tool. so calm down its on its way.

Hahahaha!!!
The last time I checked this thread the only reply was "that sux".

Well, consider me an opportunist, since I just "correctly" ordered an AH-1...with a Gold Membership attached. ;)

Oh yeah - I LOVE BFC & fixer is a TOOL!!!

I just want to clarify, I did not try to become a gold membership to get an AH-1 because I had the AH-1 before joining gold members.

I became a gold rank to support BFS, share your ideas, experiences, contests and new products that we have not in europe. I found a very friendly community here with whom I can talk about my passion for knives.

AH-1 is just a piece of 1095. Boss, please, give my AH-1 free in the next member who want to become gold. It'd fun.

Thanks ;)

I just got me a Platinum membership but I didn't use the link cause I didn't notice it. Do I still have a chance to win the Junglas? I love BFC and fixer is a tool!

I love BF and fixer is a tool. Probably a post hole digger or maybe even a light bulb changer. :D

That's the reaosn it's the very first announcement post that's a sticky...but no one reads stickies. Not sure how else to make it plainer :D

Touche Jeff, and I'll be the first to admit I'm a dumb-ass for not seeing the announcement at the top of the pages. My fault and my loss for not paying attention.

Sparks thanks for doing everything that have done and do do for us weirdos.

Oh and there was something else I was going to say...can't remember what it was...Oh yeah, I love BFC and Fixer is a tool.

hahahaha seriously this thread is awesome and just proves why BFC is awesome and I love BFC. Oh by the way, Fixer is a tool.

Thanks Spark for all your hard work...some of us appreciate it!

Looks like fixer got fixed...Custom tag, attention from Spark-

I love BFC, fixer is a tool!

This works out...My membership is/was due anyway.

If I went with KnifeMaker / Craftsman / Service Provider Membership will I still get a chance to win the Junglas?

Also does going Platnum have the same use as KnifeMaker / Craftsman / Service Provider Membership?

I'm sure the title of each pretty well explains it, but what are the differences?

Thanks

Thank you Spark! This place is a blast so I joined a few days back via the AH-1 promo and I will patiently wait for my arrowhead.

Oh yeah...I love BFC and fixer is a tool.

I saw this thread last night and today I see it is four pages! Over an AH-1? I'm thinking, it's no Izula! But now I know the real reason! :D

I love BFC and Fixer is a tool!!

We ship in cardboard boxes, with padding, not taped to envelopes or attached to passenger pigeons or tied to rocks and thrown in the general direction of the member.

It's good to see some people realize the safe way to ship things. Most places I personally order from are great, but you'd be amazed at the way some people ship sharp/heavy/dangerous goods.

and then the cost of priority shipping with confirmation instead of taping it to a piece of cardboard and sending it in a regular envelope. last time someone said "it's heavy" ok, so charge $1.00 for postage and put two stamps on the envelope. it ain't THAT heavy!

Two stamps on an envelope guarantees you'll either get it postage due, Returned to sender, or more likely, ripped open by a machine and lost. In the sales box, into a padded envelope is the easiest, safe way to ship this thing.

from Publication 52-

443.1 General

All sharp–pointed or sharp–edged instruments such as knives, tools, ice picks, razor blades, etc., must be securely packaged in a strong container as required in DMM 601.1–8. Sufficient cushioning material must be used to protect the sharp points and edges from cutting through the outer packaging during normal Postal Service handling.
