They sell similar sheaths by themselves. Search something like "mkm magnet pocket sheath" and you'll find them. Several large dealers carry them for $20-30. I believe they're the ones used for the Makro 1 & 2, but would probably work well with other fixed blades around 3" and under.
MKM does sell a "pocket leather sheath with magnetic closure" in several colors, but it's designed for folders. It might work for some fixed blades, but it's not really intended for them.
What's the difference between those and the ones that ship with the Makro 1 & 2?

It works, mine retains the knife, but the opening/retaining area is oversized and rattles quite a bit. The thumb ramp is quite large and not really needed, it could be much better, but it is functional. It could be modified to fit tighter (heat gun it) and possibly remove the thumb ramp to reduce the bulk and it would be a perfectly serviceable sheath.
