HFinn, that Boker Beauty is sure a nice looking blade, but priced way out of my range.
(And, I would say, way out of its own range. No reason a simple, small sheath knife like that, made with run-of-the-mill materials, should cost that much, unless it's a custom.)

I'll pop this one in here too...

It's a front pocket by Gene Wiseman, the frame shape is more modern I my eyes with a well sunken tang. The curved covers are G10 with really crisp lines. He makes a lightweight version without liners too, definitely a candidate.

The blade steel is good old 1095 however:)

That's a pretty neat looking knife. I reminds me of some kind of scalloped sodbuster that would have a lot of extra grip. The only complaint I have ever had about any soddie I have owned is their grips get mightly slick when wet. That looks like it solved that problem.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year folks!

Just discovered this now: it looks like ER is giving the the well-loved and respected Sardinian pattada folder ("resolza" blade) a very modern interpretation.

At first I felt generally uninterested about "reinventing the wheel" notion especially on a classic, but after about a couple of minutes, I started warming-up to the idea (if nothing else, the added security of the liner lock).

I see that K460 is Bohler's version of O1 tool steel (I had to see if it was something like K390, which would be a mega-super-steel especially for a slipjoint.)
Your knife looks great, it really is a modern traditional. No thumbstud or pocket clip, looks kosher to me :D I like the complex grind on the blade.

The tanto style blade puts it in this thread.

This would be an interesting modern slip joint, Boker W.C.Davis 2. Does anyone have any info of this knife?

On that Boker, no; but I've used this W C Davis as one of my main field knives for years, including a trip to Alaska, and have always found it to be an exceptional value. When I first met Mr Davis (at a Blade Show) I was struck by his ability to make a really good, simple, knife at a good price. His patterns owe a lot to Bob Loveless, and you can see that in the folder.
