Saved this blade out of an old broken knife, put it into an “urban jack” handle (minus the comb) and flipped the shield over.

Debating about adding an Easy Open notch, but probably not since it’s easily pinchable as is. It definitely needs a lanyard though, just gotta find the right cordage.

It is. I’ve been watching it for a while and finally had motivation on what to do with it. Contacted the seller and we worked something out. I still overpaid, but I had a vision 😅 Mainly, I wanted to give a cool blade a new life.

I think the lanyard brings it all together personally.

That's a real banger, great work!!!

Nicely done work, but deleting a punch blade?!? 😣

Thank you, it’s a fun hobby! The owner wanted something a bit more pocket friendly and this definitely achieved it. Still hand filling, but not such a pocket brick any more. I rather like it as a single but I can’t disagree that these 86 punch blades are meeeeean lookin!

Is the punch available, Mr.H??

Sadly for me these leftover parts went home with the owner. I was hoping to do something with them. On the bright side, I may have another spare 86 punch in a few weeks though 😉

If you will part with it, I'm yer man!! 😁

I just finished modifying my Ichiro Hattori h109, sold by K-mart as the model 1000s in the early 80's.

Here is a before.

It's a great knife ,but mine came off Ebay with some tearout around the lanyard tube, and the extra handle length made it carry like a much larger knife so I decided to just carefully cut it down.
