Just under 30, and I go for anything with wood handles. I don't like synthetic materials like G10 or micarta. I suppose I don't fit the trend.

yup, that's true indeed. as a kid a day felt like it never ended, and the older you get the faster the days go by. i think it's something to with neurotransmitters in the brain ( )

For my fixed blades I like (1) Micarta or (2) Kraton.

Although I do also like the GV6H handles on my Beckers! The rubber handle on the Ontario ASEK feels interesting.

For my folders I do not have a preference, although I have a few with wood handles that have not held up to well (looks only) and my stainless handle on my Spyderco Harpy is scrathed to hell (oh, well - fun knife w/ full serrations !)
