Hey guys, just spitballing.
If anyone had a plain jane wooden mora that they wouldn't mind lending to a few people, I'd be in. We could test it, do some tests, give it some woods time. All of this in the spirit that could show scammer that moras are GOOD knives. :p:p What do ya'll think? Anyone got a mora they would passaround?

And guys, how about just keeping it for a week and a half at MAX!

I have a #2 that I would sacrifice. I got it from YOU, ace, but I have since gotten SEVERAL more.

The sheath on it is messed up, but I am sure I can find a way to make it functional.

Brett

Send it this way, I'll make a pocket sheath for it and then pass it on....or a neck sheath.....

Alright how many people do we involve in this? One things for sure, I know I'll be in!:p:D:p This should be fun.

well, I'll send it to mark and he can do his thing and then I can be the last person to receive it and give it some workin'.

Sounds like fun Joe.

Brett

Well I think it may be coming my way first, so are you next aceofblades? I think they usually make a list.....

Alright, I'll take it after you. How about 8 people after me? Lets say that you have to have at least 3 posts in the last month here in this forum. And at least 60 posts total. What do you guys think? Also how about CONUS only? Anyone else got any ideas?

Not to crap on your idea. But for the price of shipping you could almost buy one to keep. SMKW has free shipping and the knife is only $13 for a laminated blade. Carbon would be $14.50 shipped from Ragnar.

We could also so some slight tinkering with it, that will not directly harm the knife. That is, if Brett's okay with that?

I think it's more about the commaraderie than the money. At least that's what I think.

FYI the mora I have is the red handled #2 with the carbon blade.

Take care all,
Brett

That's perfectly fine with me. I lay it on the alter of experimentation. If it comes back in one piece, awesome. if not, that's life. Sometimes things break.

I agree with Brett. So what do you think, could we do some light tinkering?

personally, I think that would make it all that much more fun. Perhaps I'll get back a knife that i can say was handled and used by a bunch of good folks. How's that for history on a knife???

go for it...:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Ok since it's not worth it:p I will throw in a little hand made to pass around too... any objections? or would this hijack the purpose of the thread?

Thanks a ton. Now who all wants to sign up? First come first serve as long as you are within the guidelines! And Charlie, I think that thats ok too, not sure if you want anyone tinkering though?
