I just saw this.

I bet these will be gone in a hurry.

Should have me a natural canvas on the way as soon as they are in. Thanks for the heads up. I had no idea these were in the works. Definately my favorite pattern.

Beautiful knives. I got a green canvas micarta the last time and it was deal for $50-60, but I prefer the thinner handles of the nifebrite version that I'm carrying as an edc. The natural colored one makes it look like a real work knife.

I wish collector knives would ship to Europe. I'd love to buy one of those working knives!

That natural canvas micarta is quite the looker. I've yet to pull the trigger on a #71 yet, and that would have been the one to make me do it, sadly no shipping to Canada either on Collector Knives, so I'm in the same boat as sogflash. Those are really handsome knives none the less.

Maybe these cover options will end up on some of the other online sources that do ship internationally down the road. Here's to hoping!

I like the look of the natural canvas micarta too, but the raised pivot pin is a deal breaker for me. I have one in OD canvas, and the pin will cut you if not careful. I'm not sure why they designed the knife with a raised pivot pin. Some may like it....to each his own.

Thanks for the heads up! I check the site every other day and this one got by me. I have a couple of each in bound, this soddie addiction hurts the pocket book sometimes. :D

It is always great to have an old pattern that you actually want to stay in inventory... Can't beat on old sod......bullnose.

My plan is to see if I can spin these pins a little, but it is the nature of the beast. If you want roughed canvas, you can't buff the compound into the material. But, I can always find something to gripe about.

I´d also like to buy one of these. Maybe we guys from overseas can get one through Exchange...

The #71 is a great knife pattern, indeed.

There are several reasons.
Economy (in the manufacturing process)
Ease of user adjustment
Design/aesthetics
...to name a few.

You guys overseas, if you need a US proxy I'd be willing to ship them to you if you have them sent to me. I'd love to help a fellow soddie lover out. Hit me up if you need the favor! Trevor~
