I know this must have been asked a thousand times by now, so make it 1001:D Any word on the release date?? Should we expect to see these next month??

This is what I heard

"These are supposed to be on shelf by the SHOT show on Feb 11th, means they should be shipping then. It will be close, but we will see."

Klaus

I think it is more like the samples will be at the Shot Show.

There are others on this forum who know much more than I do about the projected completion date.

the 1st 25 will be on shelf This next week..

We are finding that each one of these has its own personality when its being built. Some are pleasant, some are cranky..

All are ending up very smooth and classy knives..

:D

This is probably the replacement for my recently lost lil Sebbie.

So about this Buck Collector's club, what's up? I find a page on the Buck site, but no instructions on how to join. A 110 was my first high quality knife purchased more than 20 years ago. I carried it everyday and everywhere for years. It's a bit bulky for the way I dress these days, although I got an Annuversary model to add to my modest collection from my best buddy for my 40th last June.

I'd love to have a Buck Knife in my pocket as an EDC again and I think the Mayo collaboration is just the knife to do it.

Let me reitterate: Please Start Shipping!!!!

In regards to the Buck Collector's Club, look in this Forum for a thread titled Buck Collector's Club Inc. There you will find the information needed to join, along with a printable application. If you don't find enough info there, or just have a few more questions, feel free to email me and I'll answer what I can.

Concerning a Buck as your EDC, I too have one of the Buck/Mayo's on order and am waiting for them to ship. In the meantime, I picked up a Buck 178 "Adrenalin-Ti" and love it!! Black aluminum handles, a purple-ish anodized titanium liner, and a ATS-34 blade - lightwieght, stylish, and plenty of "knife!" - which has become my non-work EDC. Something you might want to think about...

I talked to my sales rep at Buck today. I'm close to the top of the list for shipping but he says it will be awhile yet. I hope I get some before Knife Expo '03. That's coming up in ten days.

Tom is my hero. I have three of his TNT's that he made for me. I am left handed (as is Tom). Tom makes an outstanding knife and he has always done right by me. Thanks Tom!

40 went into Packing/Shipping yesterday..

I think I'll stand aside to avoid getting run over.. :)

Jeff

HeHe, you got that right Jeff!!!! Glad to hear that the are starting to ship some. Anxious to get my hands on one.

I just learned that 20 Buck Mayos were shipped to me 2/13. I am anxious to hold one in my grubby little paws and see how it feels. I have been told that the action on these is very, very smooth. I will give you a report with my impressions next week after they arrive.

Larry,

How many preorders did you have? When we emailed I believe I reserved the second-to-last one from you ;) . Any chance that mine is one of those 20? I can't wait to see it! :D

BTW I got my BCC membership materials and that color catalog is sweet! Can I order other Buck models from you as well?
