Becoming a BCCI member and buying through Larry is definitely the way to go. But the discounts mschwoeb mentioned are incorrect. Larry charges LIFETIME members just 10% over wholesale and ANNUAL members 15% over wholesale. (Wholesale is considered 1/2 of the MSRP). This is actually quite better than mschwoeb mentioned.

If anyone wants info on joining the BCCI, or more info on what other benefits there are, ask any of us that are members. If you need an application check out the thread BUCK COLLECTORS CLUB...

Oops, never mind I thought I was responding to the moving to Idaho thread.

What can i say...I am wearing one. My green lightning 175 got retired.

It is totally sweet. action flawless, fun to play with, light and slim so I don't even feel it (I wear clipped into my right back pocket)

We are having our sales meeting today so samples were due and I pulled a little weight... I feel we have done Tom Mayo proud with this product. nuff said...

When is the "baby" going to be out in the real world, You still haven't tell us when we can buy one.

CJ, you are such a tease. ;) When can we see a pic of the final model? When are these going to ship to distributors? I need one of these.

CJ actualy Hog-tied us until we gave him one :) .. There has been 12 made so far.. 10 for Reps, and one for CJ and Chuck Sr.

Full production will start soon..

Jeff

Looks like the new Adrenaline (178) will MSRP for $112.00. Nice knife by the picture. Similar in shape to the Koji folder but larger.

The Mayo pic in the catalog shows that it looks just like the one that Tom posted a picture of couple of pages back. MSRP $296.00.

Camera Yes, Time no.. I'll see if I can get pics today.. Can anyone host them for me?

Thanks

Jeff

Sure I can host one of the knives, thank you for asking. The sooner I get it, the faster I will take some pictures of it!

saw the pics in the general forum. These are sweet. I can't wait to get one. Any update on when these will be hitting dealer shelves?

Awesome picts in the other thread! Got some more questions for Jeff or CJ:

1. Is the blade hollow-ground 1/8" stock? Looks that way.

2. What is the length closed and the handle thickness?

3. Weight? I'm guessing under 3 oz.

4. Washer type? I hope they're bronze and not teflon.

5. Ball bearing detent? Probably goes without saying :D.

Thanks to everyone at Buck for really moving this project along. You guys have got a winner!

I must say they did a GREAT JOB......the lockup is marvelous and they are RAZOR sharp! I did change the top grind a bit and sent it back to get them to do them all like that but overall I couldnt have asked for more, THANKS GUYS!! :D

OK, Tom, now to REALLY put you on the spot. :)

Is the Buck version as good as one of yours, and, if not, WHY not? Inquiring minds... :)
