I don't own a Benchmade, Spyderco (Sharpmaker doesn't count), or a Buck 110.

Going with the idea in this thread, we the people of blade forums should choose ONE knife that every member must buy. I'd call it "The official Knife of Blade Forums". We could all vote on which one every two years.

I think it would be difficult to narrow down a particular model though. Many members seem to have the Classic, but with so many different alternative models to choose from the SAK results will be diluted. Just thinking out loud. I'm curious for the polling to begin.

I have a feeling they sell more Classics than anything else (plus they are small and easy to lose, TSA or otherwise). I wonder if Spyderco sells more Ladybugs than any other model. Bet they do.

Nah. I threw mine away in the interest of public safety; there were riots of jealousy every time I pulled it out.

Plus, I've heard many people are holding out on buying a Jarbenza until the rumored chartreuse model is available.

I dunno... seems like most SAK users prefer a model with regular-size handles. Recruit, Farmer, Camper, etc. Doesn't mean that the majority of BF members won't have a Classic in their collection though... I certainly do.

I think the small size makes the Ladybug more of a novelty item, so I'd bet fewer Bladeforums members are likely to own a Ladybug than some other models. I've got a Ladybug also.
