Most controversial and debated topics on Bladeforums

I'm rather fond of the "I'm done buying knives" and "I'm only going to use this one knife for a year" threads followed a day or so later with "Which new knife should I get?" or "Look what I bought Today!"

Of course as far as "hot topics", mentioning Noss usually adds at least 20 pages to a thread.

Strider's quality,
Sebenza's worth,
Umnumzaan's Ceramic Ball,
Sharp Phil (nothing against you just making observation),
S30v edge chipping,
Lynn Thompson,
Infi,
Omega Springs,
Non-US made blades and so on...

Thumbstuds and a flipper are infinitely better on a Battle Mistress with SKELETONIZED liners and a TACTICAL axis lock and Assisted Opening that's not to fast and not to slow and its all worse than an AUS-8 Sebenza made by Lynn Thompson and reviewed by nutnfancy that Esav Benyamin gave me an infraction for.

but I saw that SOG stole a design featured in a Cold Steel dvd of a partially serrated, titanium nitride coated, H1,convexed, hollow grind, slip joint rescue machete with a carbon fiber handle and a neon lanyard designed by Chad Los Banos in Golden, Colorado Taiwan.

How Brittle is D2?

Why are Gerbers hated?

How do I conceal X knife in X location for X purpose?

Any one that in any way can be taken as "I don't care for the Sebenza"

and my personal favorite:

What is wrong with SOG?

But it didn't have a hole anywhere on it, so it's OK.

Oh, and skull beads. Apparently people get really tore up about skull beads.

"I recommend OP invest in a quality smatchet!"

"I just bought a knife from x site, are they a good site?"

"Tenacious or Vex?"

"I love my BM 940!"

"I hate my BM 940!"

"RAWRRRR COLD STEEL and/or LYNN THOMPSON!"

That smatchet needs skull beads on its lanyard.

Um, topic wise... country of origin always stirs up a certain segment of the population here. Especially a country whose name starts with C and is 5 letters long.

I hate knives made in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. their knives are as worthless as their currency!
