My favorite are the sharpening questions that don't go to tinkering and maintenance.
 
I only have $50 to spend and I want a fixed blade that I can chop down a Forrest with, build a log cabin and chop cars in half.... :rolleyes:

Hard use folder.....

Blade thickness.....

My $25 knife can do anything that those $ xxx.xx knives can do........

Any knife that costs more than $250......

Probably the most controversial I have seen in my short time here is the recurring:

"What do you think of destructive testing" or some variation. Those threads have had lots of lively discussion.

In my relatively short time on the forums but I have been amazed at the tenacity people attack knifetests and fake Rambo knives.
 
Controversial:

Strider related anything History, Myth, Quality control you name it, people will argue it heatedly.

Most Debated:

Busse stuff, most people do like it, but are pissed its not priced at a level for the average end user.

End of the world scenarios (its called that because you get to die kids ; )

Best Steels or alloys or grip materials

Best of anything really.
 
I didn't read the whole thing but Benchmade pricing seems to be popular lately.

Also sharp knives being safer (or more dangerous ;))
 
Moras being crap or not. It seems that there are some real haters out there for some reason. :confused:

At the other end of the spectrum are those "why do you use such an expensive knife?!?" threads. :rolleyes:
