Most expensive Knife/EDC-Gear you've lost.

The only things I've ever lost out if my pockets were:

Gerber paraframe 2 (which I believe was taken off my shelf and tossed into the ocean on a vacation)
A SAK tinker.

Edit:
$200 at a target, ran around the store like a f***ing idiot for 15 minutes before I decided I was SOL. Thank God it wasn't my sebenza that was in the same pocket.

Recently? SOG Powerlock and my Kindle Fire off the back of my motorcycle, yes I edc a tablet.

A few years ago I lost my entire knife collection in a move (that was utterly heartbreaking!) but found it recently. :) :) :)

recon 1 and sog trident. really pissed about the recon 1 and the sog was stolen and pawned, but the boy who pawned it worked with me so I confronted him and got money back, but out the knife. they were only 50-60 bux. couldn't imagine losing some of this other stuff...its the one thing that worries me when spending good money on knives

I've lost numerous thing, none worth mentioning. However, I have lost an old Spyderco military. Not of greatest of value in the scheme of things but I had it for a while. The other day an acquaintance & that's stretching it temp. misplaced a Large 21 on top of his wallet. No one looking...no one around... but I couldn't. Even if his wallet hadn't been there to ID him. I would have held onto it & asked around. Needless to say, I returned his property but every time he sees me, he has an extra pep in him. I guess he thinks were friends now.

I've only ever lost three kives that I EDC'd.

The first was a Case boy scout pattern when I was a young teenager in the 1970's. I lost it while snowmobiling. I never lost another EDC knife until almost 40 years later when, last year, I lost a blue bone Case swayback gent and an Emerson CQC-7V within a few months of each other.

Back when I was a teen, I also lost my favorite Schrade stockman in Lake George, NY. A few years later, I got into SCUBA and found the knife! I still have it today.

Stay sharp,

My lovely €40 Kershaw Tremor, And my cap that was made of antilope skin when i was eight :'( . I got it from friends from South Africa...

most expensive I have lost?

I lost a Benchmade 580 barrage at a mall.....spent 4 hours looking for it....I was seriously mad. I have not lost anything since, and don't plan to. I carry a Sebenza now and I would be sick if I lost it.

I once lost a large fixed blade worth about $1200. It at the bottom of a large eastern American river.

Ha, My Great Grandfather's Holy Cross Class ring rest at the bottom of the Mississippi now. Have my Dad to thank for that one! xP

Them rivers can get a hold of things.

I've not lost anything of note or value that I can think of off the top of my head. However, I've misplaced plenty of stuff only to find it later. Most recently was my video camera.

I ditched a Tenacious while in line for TSA once. A CRKT Ignitor is hiding somewhere or under some furniture. So nothing too expensive but I did misplace my Blur for awhile but it was luckily found.

Small Sebenza with Tanto blade - still can't figure out where she went (Las Vegas - April 2010), and she never came back.

You guys make my long lost leek sound like nothing. Damn, imagine some dude finding a sabenza and having no idea it's a $400 knife.

I lost my first Ti ZDP Leek. Left it in my pocket on laundry day (laundromat). I did eventually get a replacement, but still miss my user :(
