Most impressive knife shop?

Plaza Cutlery in South Coast Plaza in Orange County CA is fairly impressive, not too far from Disneyland if that's where yer headed.

For the folks going to the Santa Barbara area, ya gotta hit Nordic Knives in Solvang. But you don't go there for production stuff...

Don't forget to stop in at Cold Spring Tavern on your way up the 154...

Nordic Knives is particularly impressive to me. They've got the finest selection of custom knives I've ever seen and their production knife selection isn't too bad either. (I picked up a Kershaw Groove there a few years ago.) They're well worth the side trip to Solvang . . . as if Solvang weren't worthy of a side trip all by itself. Check it out:

Haven't been to Nordic Knives in Solvang but I'll be sure to check them out next time I'm in that area.

In addition to Plaza Cutlery which has been at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa forever I've also been to Grommet Collectibles in Moreno Valley and they have a great selection of knives, swords, etc.

Smokey Mtn knife works in the Pigeon Forge area of TN is great.

Closer to me, Edgeworks in Frederick MD stocks great quality stuff! Last time he had at least 6 Sebenzas in stock, amazing William Henry inventory, full line of the new LE Bucks for the 110 anniversary year. Plus, the owner Sean is a great down to earth guy who really knows his blades.

Sean is great people, definitely stop in Edgeworks. Hit Black Hog BBQ a couple blocks down. I've done a lot of trading and buying with Sean. I'll be headed out there again July 12th, after a powwow I'm hitting a used bookstore out there and Edgeworks. Hoping my ZT 562 came in too. Another spot to check out is Willey knives in Greenwood DE, great people. Gotten some great deals at both spots. Good brick and mortar prices at both stores too.

Northstar Trading Post in the U.P of Michigan right between gadstone and Escanaba. Its where the sheaths are made for Bark River Knives. They have a little bit of everything and when you talk with the owner/operator its like he has known you your entire life. I make sure and stop there everytime I go past it (3-4 times a year).

I am so jealous!!! Here in New Hampshire the only B&M knife places are Cabela's, Bass Pro shops, and Riley's Gunshop.

There is nothing close to me dedicated to just blades and that truly stinks.............

If you still have a record player laying around check out the store across the street. Last time I was there I picked up an Eagles and a Grand Funk Railroad record for about 2 bucks each.
