Noss broke the Busse FBM, but he couldn’t break the Keffeler monster, made in 1/2+” of cpm3v. These tests are long gone from YouTube, but I watched every one of those videos hundreds of times. Those tests originated my toughness obsession.Watch these old videos by Noss. The short answer to the question is the Busse FBM - Fusion Battle Mistress. His tests are wildly excessive, but can be pretty fun to watch and certainly reveal weaknesses in a hurry. Someone bought his webpage and has moved many/most of the videos to here:
That rubber handle is a bit much.I don’t care about pretty,,,,,,,I just want one that doesn’t give me blisters!
Genuinely curious. If you found an indestructible knife, that was truly indestructible, what would you do with it?

Makes sense. An indestructible anything would be a confidence boost. A big reason why people like GShocks and in the past Nokia.I'm only speaking for myself, and free opinions are worth what you paid for them.
An indestructible knife would be a better Dumbo feather.
I would spend my time trying to destroy it.Genuinely curious. If you found an indestructible knife, that was truly indestructible, what would you do with it?
Is that really a knife, or a prybar?! LOL!Ok I submit this as the “indestructible knife”

It is 25mm thick solid titanium.
Can’t hold an edge, won’t really cut much of anything, but boy is it tough!!
Agree, those Cold Steel folders with the Demko Triad lock are amazingly strong. I have the SR1 lite as well as the 4 Max Scout. There was a video of some big scandinavian guy (the guy literally looked like the missing link) lashing the 4 max to a pole and using it like a spear by throwing it against trees. He did this constantly apparentlyi know were talkin fixed........
and I'm not a joe x fan, but was surprised how well cold steels 8cr13mov in the sr1 lite did. he couldn't really break it and that's all he does is try to break knives.
Spend the rest of your life trying to sharpen it.Genuinely curious. If you found an indestructible knife, that was truly indestructible, what would you do with it?
That's the perfect distinction...."in hand usage". No knife is immune to damage. Any blade can be damaged, but there are plenty of good knives that can't be destroyed by hand.Beyond a certain set of parameters knives become basically indestructible in hand usage (you can stick anything in a hydraulic press or shoot it enough times and destroy it). At that point the question then becomes how can you optimize within that envelope to get a useful cutting instrument and that’s when things like edge stability, geometry, etc all get interesting….
