MOST Intimidating EDC folder

My Emerson super cqc 8 is my not at work edc and its a lot of fun to unleash from the pocket when showing it off.

The top one below is my most intimidating knife, thus it's infrequent carry. The Benchmade Bone Collector means it's carrier is a hunter... you might get harvested! The bottom one is a sleeper. If someone can afford a small Sebenza to EDC they can likely afford a good enough lawyer to get them off for shooting your dumb butt for assaulting them with a knife! In my world, a knife is a tool - a legally carried firearm is for protection... YMMV.

Probably a Spyderco Civilian. A smaller intimidating, but higher-functioning knife is the ZT 0400.

I'm surprised there aren't more spear-points and stilettos, and basically no dagger blades. Maybe it's because I can't see things from the perspective of a NKP but this:

Is much more intimidating to me. It's pretty clear this knife is meant to kill someone before they can kill you. Or this:

I'm out if he's got a throwing knife. That sh*t is scary.
(Note: neither pics are mine) And yet both knives could be EDC'd

IDK, how intimidating knives are or if that is the purpose to carry one but:

I always get looks in the lunchroom at work when people here the "cluh-chink" of my ZT flipping open.

i don't own any intimidating knives. i wouldn't want to draw attention or get locked up.:D

You want to scare EVERYONE...pull an automatic knife....that GETS EVERYONE'S attention...

That's just silliness.

As soon as I saw this thread I knew I'd see Charlies stuff in here. The third picture down is still the meanest looking folder I have ever seen. It has the same affect as a head butt in a fight... It makes the opposing person thing what have I just got myself into!?

I'd say the Emerson Wave Matriarch would be well up there, and it can be carried for a reverse grip draw like Charlie's video shows.

There is always the Cold Steel Vaquero XL Serrated. I think that most people would take a step back seeing that.

Me thinks we all have a LOT of scary knives - but I have two favorites (both of which I own 3 of)

Emerson Super Karambit - scary look - but the WAVE feature that opens it out-of-pocket, in reverse grip that makes you look like you just grew a "Wolverine-esque Claw" out of the side of your hand, and one good "spin" on your index finger for flash, makes this a blade that people usually jump from - a reaction I get most often, since this is my EDC.

And the most feared pocket knife of all, the REKAT Pocket Hobbit - people start bleeding just glancing at it. From the look of it, you KNOW this knife was made to do collateral damage.

Someone mentioned the Emerson Persian. I just got these today, and I'm inclined to agree.

While I usually don't carry this in my pocket, the cold steel rajah ii is pretty vicious. Usually there is some pupil dilation and a few remarks when is gets drawn.

Spyderco Civilian. This is the knife that started my intrigue into knives. It just looks nasty. I first saw one in the mid 90's I think. I remember thinking that can cause some damage. I've always liked Spyderco after that. Though I never did get one. Just don't have enough $$. Maybe some day.
