most over rated folder?

I think Submariner hit the nail on the head about everyone's needs being different. I think my Sebenza is the best knife I've ever handled. Of course my experience is probably limited compared to alot of you, but this knife is everything I need in a folder. I cringed at paying that much for a small folder that I would carry on a daily basis, but I guess it's money better spent than paying $500 or more for a custom and letting in sit in a safe day after day.

Greg,

You bring up a good point. What good is a knife you can't (or won't use)?

While some people buy knives to admire under a glass and bankers light, a knife (it's a tool after all) that I can't cut with has greatly diminished value. Part of the joy of owning a knife and appreciating the makers skill is in how it actually works in your hands.

Stay Sharp,
Sid

Sebenzas, Umfaans and Microtechs are overrated and over priced. Not to say they aren't high quality - they are. However, definitely over priced for production folders.

I agree with those that say the Sebenza is not over rated. Just talked about to much on this forum. I also agree with it being overpriced from a personal standpoint. The thing is despite what we think they sell quite well . It is all about what the market will support when it comes to priceing. Seems that the market has decided that it is priced rite. Course the market thinks ats 34 is great too. I really don't agree with the market haha.

Tom Carey
