Most owned knife on this forum?

I too must go with the Buck 110 and one of the Spyderco models such as the Delica or Endura. I base this on what I recall here at BFC since day one. It'd be interesting to see a survey with members allowed to check off what they currently or formerly owned.

I'm going to get double duty out of this post I made on uncle Bill's thread about pocket knives.

To Silverwing, about her Mom letting her buy her Dad a knife, "SAK's are pocket knives. Very distinctive, what else looks like a SAK? They are everywhere, in their own seperate display case. I bet if you said. Case or Buck, Mom wouldn't think of knives first. You say Swiss Army, and anyone will fill in KNIFE. Heck, what else is the Swiss Army known for?"

Hey, I've used other peoples quotes before, why not my own?

SAK without a doubt. I own just about every knife listed except the Buck 110. I did carry the smallest Buck penknife (model 705?) for years and years tho.

Why would a knife being the most widely owned be a good thing?

The most widely owned car, truck, rifle, pistol, computer, tool, TV or whatever is usually mediocre at best and more often a POS.

I guess I don't understand the point of the question unless it is something you want to avoid.

Hi MJB,

He never said it was a good thing. He only wanted to know what knife was most prevalent in society.

Smoke has nailed it methinks!

Buck 110... Great knife. The very definition of "Classic".
I've owned a couple over the years. I have the damascus version now.

Isn't this the knife that started the tactical knife craze?

So, what IS the speed of dark?

According to Buck, they have sold over 10 million, 110's. I still say SAK's, probably have them beat. These have to be #1 and #2, in the country easily. On the Forums? Sebenza's and Busse, based just on the posts made here.

I would have to say the most owned knife is probably the Buck 110. I bought mine used in 1979 and still have it. I was working construction then, everybody and their dog carried a 110.

Yeah, the Buck 110's and Spyderco Delica 's are probably the most popular.

By the way, I've got one of the first, and 3 of the later!
