Most owned knife on this forum?

I think that this question should be: Is there anybody out there without a SAK?

Of course buck 110 is one knife and SAK is not. I think that there are not a single model that has been unchanged (blade configuration) for over 15 million sold copies. In most SAKs there is that 'big' blade though.

But as SAK has been nominated, there are things that must be considered:
If we (read I) assume that 25% of members are not from USA and 95% of those have not Buck 110 but 99% of those 25% have at least one SAK... Only buck I have seen in real life is some bowie type fixed blade.
AND
Victorinox makes 7 million Swiss officers knives per year(I just checked). Assuming that Victorinox has made over 5 mil SAKs / year for mor than 40 years (it has been around 100 years and been popular since the beginning) you see that there are/have been 200 million SAKs versus 15 mil Buck 110(thank you Sal for announcing this information about Buck).

As a person who belives in math: 200 > 15. Physicist would say that the difference is over one order to SAKs advantage...

In this forum I'll guess Spyderco based upon the number of replies in some threads. In the US I'll guess Schrade Old Timers as I consistently see them in display cases in hardware stores. World wide I'll guess SAKs, and maybe even in the US as like Old Timers 'they're everywhere they're everywhere'.

I had a medium sized Buck fixed blade a long time ago but never owned a 110, I did carry a SAK Tinker for years, currently carry a discontinued Old Timer stockman, and have never owned a Benchmade or Spyderco as none of their offerings have interested me.

I have on of each of the knives that have been listed in theis thread. My first folder and in my opinion the best "user" is a Buck 110.

Unless I missed something in the original title of this post, the question was about which knife is the most common on this forum (not globally). While the discussion about global knife possibilities is very interesting (esp. the sheer number of SAK knives produced yearly), the knife owners of this forum seem to have some different tastes than the general knife-buying public.

From the responses so far, several knives seem to be leading the vote getting... Buck 110, BM AFCK, SAK, Boy Scout knife. It would be interesting to do an actual survery of the members to get a more accurate count.

On second thought I'm guessing that the SAK actually issued to the swiss army is the soldier model, which has the same blades and tools as the various US military steel handled pocket utility knives, the boy scout knife, and civilian clones.

If I remember correctly all are configured as below:

1)a large spear point, a can opener,
2)a screwdriver with bottle opener,
3)a can opener,
4)an awl.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck.

I think my son is going to get me a boy scout knife for Christmas. He just doesn't know it yet. Nor my wife about the Buck 110 she's giving me.

I'd have to discount the SAK because it's more than a knife, kinda cheesy IMO.

The SAK definitely should be counted as a knife. I cut things with my trusty Electrician model every day. Before that, I carried a Tinker, before that a Spartan, before that a Soldier, .... back to the dawn of time. Other knives come and go, but I always have 2 SAK's on me (though one is a Classic, and I don't count that as a knife).

My 2 cents goes to the benchmade stryker I myself just got one and I was very impressed it is wayyyyyy better than I thought.......
