Most popular blades on here

Everything Mora gets it's fair share of discussion.

The case sodbusters are popular enough

Depending on what you mean by " here " I'd say the Buck 110 will always be extremely popular.

The Spyderco dragonfly gets mentioned often enough.

Btw who cares what's popular ?
Most of my favorite knives aren't popular, " in " , or trendy.
They don't get talked about all the time, and I may be one of the few people who actually loves said knives but I still love them.

Uh, the OP does. That's why he opened the thread.

The last thread you opened in GKD was about:

Are you consciously aware of how you hold your knife when you whip it out ( take your knife out ), use it, then put it away real quick ?.

Nobody replied "Who cares?"

I know someone else replied with the Benchmade Griptilian, so I'll add to that and say the Ritter Griptilian. Lots of people own one(or 7) of them. Absolutely love mine.

Heard of the GEC Beerscouts, Ganzo's and their ilk are always being discussed, everybody seems to own a Mora, "smatchet" gets dropped frequently....never heard of the Lionsteel Roundhead.
Perhaps you know it as the Euro Barlow? There's only been one run of them, they get snatched up every time they appear in the traditionals forum (including today). Try a forum search. Next run drops December.

There are popular knives that are king in their catagory when it comes to market awareness.

For example in the high end ti framelock: CRK is one of the most well known. Hinderer is another leader here. At one point Strider SnG would be here, though its popularity seems to be waning.

But if we look at another similar catagory, overbuilt ti framelocks: Strider is still one of the top players here. Hinderers and Medfords too.

So because a there are so many catagories of knives, if you want to know which ones are popular try this; just think of a catagory of knives and which are a few that pop into your head. Those are probably some of thr most popular knives of that type.

Gotta be the Sebenza 21, or maybe the mora companion, or the delica, though the Griptilian perhaps. :) But wait, there's more; the Buck 110, or ,or ... I surrender! (No, I'm not French)

So there has been one run of, what, a couple hundred of them, and nobody has really heard of them outside Traditionals, but they are as popular as Enduras and Moras and PMs?!?

It's like saying you are saying White River Knives are the most popular because they are all that anybody ever talks about in the White River Knives subforum.

And which knife is the most popular? "Most popular overbuilt ti framelock" or "most popular sprint run Barlow" was not the question posed.

Marci, you are obviously missing the point of the OP. Which is, "what's the most popular...Ummm... Errr. knife thing?" I think. ;) No, you are correct (most popular BLADE, period.), how unusual for you! :p

Just because you never heard of the Round Head doesn't mean other people haven't either. It won a ton of praise in all circles because it has a traditional design but uses new age materials(titanium/M390).

Hell, I think the thread that was created just for that particular knife has damn near 1k posts(maybe even more now).

It sells quickly. They're making a second run. It's arguably popular.

And this has 1760:

So, so much for that theory. ZTs are more popular than Round Heads. So Round Heads are not the most popular. Which is what we are talking about.
