Hey you all? I don't have access to this at anytime but is WSS the most popular forum on BF? It seems like from noon on there is between 50 and
70(!)plus members surfing this forum. Just for comparison when I see that number I go on a few of the other forums on BF and the numbers are always lower. Is it possible there are more people on this one at any given time than most others or am I just missing some of the more popular forums here?

We seem to be consistently second to the General Knife Discussion -- which can have over 300 at a given time.

Last night, we were up in the 90s here!!!

All of you create an atmosphere that makes people who visit want to stay. Kudos, folks!

We have always had our core regulars, but there seems to be more and more new names down there all the time which is very cool! I usually keep this page up throughout the day and pop in often, and it always seems to have a lot of people viewing.

I really enjoy that the folks here seem to actually post a lot of pics where they are actually outside.

Also there seems to be a convergance of a lot of the really nice folks I've known for years on a lot of the other outdoor related forums posting here now, or should I say posting MORE here now:thumbup:

wow.. that is a lot of people...

with the exception of the for sale area's... this is the only foum on BF, that i frequent.... and probably the most frequented forum for that matter....:D

THIS PLACE ROCKS...:thumbup::thumbup:

This is a really great forum because of the people and also lets not forget our moderator. He is doing a great job of keeping this place going. (How's that for sucking up)

Seriously though, always new interesting topics, and many many friendly, informative and helpful comments from everyone, this is a great forum.
And also a kudos to our moderator who is doing a great job, I have never seen a moderator involve themselves in a forum so much.

Perhaps because we are buried in the back of the bottom drawer?!

Aw, shucks, Marty, Liam, and Scott. Remind me to pay you the $5 I promised if you said nice things. ;) :p

Thanks for the kind words. Everyone here makes it easy to be enthusiastic. We all make it happen together.

I would think it helps that this is a pretty broad topic area, and there is usually something cool to learn or check out. Lots of creative people around.

True. I have always thought a good mod sets the tone not by wielding the ban hammer but by stimulating the conversation and treating all with respect. BJ meets and exceeds those criteria.:D

A lot of times there's folks who have a lot of cool stuff to share but they think nobody would appreciate it. Encouraging people to share stuff is a very cool mod thing to do IMO.

I think you are wrong HD, ....Africa / Southwest Asia.....this is the most popular. Man I just went over to that forum and it's rocking !!!!

I like this forum because i learn a lot reading your posts. And overall because of the friendly attitude you all have. There's no competiton of knowledge here, just share of experiments of the life in the wilderness. I like that spirit and i thank all of you for keeping that spirit.

dantzk.

Everyone seems fairly docile here and able to communicate without to many flame wars. Its almost like the retreat from w/c:p. Plus ALL THE PICS I love seeing all the pictures guys like pitdog and others put up. It keeps ya coming back and makes me want to post em. I have learned alot here and coming here keeps me on my toes so to speak when it comes to bushcraft and prepardness. Keep up the good work everyone.
