Most satisfying knife to open

Fully broken in Inkosi, has to be the smoothest knife on washers.

I wait on the next one to possibly dethrone the Inkosi.

Any Swedish barrel knife.

My previous post has become outdated.

My two new, and forever all-time favorites. Nothing beats the feel of a powerful switchblade coming alive in your hand 😊.

Videos included.

Was there a white noise machine running in the background while those videos were being shot?

I think my favorite knife to open is the Mnandi. Small, sleek and sexy. Open it in the office or a restaurant and no one bats an eye at the old guy and his knife but I hear that sweet sound that can only be described as a Sebenza whispering to you…

I don’t own one anymore but I bought a second ‘ZAAN after selling my first just because how much I enjoyed opening them.

Mnandi was my first thought. Small, and sleek, with such a satisfying ‘thwickkk’ sound. Nothing quite like it.

My favorite knife to open right now though is probably my Oz Roosevelt.

For me it would be the Spyderco Sage 1. Very underrated knife, IMO. Nice solid THWACK for a smallish knife.

Out of all the knives I own, I love my little Zero Tolerance 0022 the most. It's a cool little guy!

Custom = RJ Martin Devastator. It's a shame he stopped making this model.
Production Framelock = Shiro 95
Production Linerlock = TIE: Shiro F3NL + Andre Thorburn L44
Backlock/Midlock = Vintage Al Mar SERE Attack 3002 folder

My ZT 0562CF. The bearing pivot on this thing accompanied by the thick heavy blade is so satisfying. The frame lock cracks when it locks the blade into place. It's my version of a fidget spinner.

I've had two Shamans and many Sebbies, but my original Spyderco Slysz Bowie gets that honor.

Any well broken in CRK is a joy to open. Also, for me, there is just something wonderful about opening a well made slip joint.
