Most sought after Busse Models?

I bought Silent knight years back from Knife Hunter and it's been the pride of my collection, if and when I do decide to sell it, Knife Hunter is going to get the call first. Here's a couple of pictures for size comparison.

Thanks T for the info and pics!!!! Different sized silent knights huh? Ya learn something everyday (or in my case once a month). Surprised they used the same name due to size and blade catches. Eitherway, I love em, esp the Uncle's :D

Thanks for the pics Sir, god thats such a beauty. Do you know the OAL off the top of your head? I dont know how you resist from swinging that thing! Loads of fun to be had I bet.

It's 17 1/4" OAL with a 11 1/2 inch blade and what makes this one unique is the balance, it's very fast in the hand.

Well, I want to hear more about the Christian survivor-type show! Please PM or email me if it is too off-topic for this thread, but I am intensely curious!

I would probably use something iconic, like a NMFBM, along with a Boss St or CABS.

Most sought after?

I vote ABA (Anorexic Badger Attack)

with snakeskin scales.

WE have similar taste Dino:thumbup:

I like that Noreen too. Doug's a real nice man:cool:

Yes, I let an old friend have it .

Hey Eric, Jaxx nailed it. I got it from my first or second KC show I believe. If Im not mistaken its looks like Jaxx has the shorter version, and the one I had was nearly 3" longer. I would have to dig through some old post to find measurements but I am sure its here somewhere:thumbup:

Heres a similar pair I had at one time . Actually, they are so close I had take a double take at my picture Dinokay posted. (I got to find that pic in my album and label it.) I started thinking for a second that it was this one modded but then it hit me that its sitting on an old log I used for pics for awhile and the blade catch is off so its original cause I didnt have it modded.

If dinokay's measurement is accurate, then mine has the same blade length. :) ...But they do tend to get freakishly long as you well know!! :D

INFI SK (top) is 14" from tip to the top of the flat part of the handle
Busse-SK_SideBySide-length.jpg

INFI SK-v (bottom) is 11.5" from tip to the top of handle.

OldPhysics' sweet SK from BLADE'09(?) might be even longer...!

The show will focus on topics Christians dont normally talk about. So we are having shows on firearms, survival, hunting, fishing, sports, also end of time stuff. Its called Real Talk 2012. it iwll be on dish and direct tv in may I think maybe sooner.

Sweet! Thats awesome Jaxx:thumbup:

I didnt mean to imply negatively that yours was smaller than mine:eek:;):D

Although, due to the angle it did kinda look like it in the beginning;):D

but dang look at the behemoth on top:cool:

No worries, I know ya didn't. ;) ...I couldn't remember the length of that one, so I broke it out to see. Kinda funny how when you look at a pic long enough...even your own pic of your own knife...the details can become fuzzy with the knife stowed away deep in a box somewhere! :o

Pretty sure that top behemoth is in the neighborhood lengthwise as your big bad boy. It is my zombie slayer, LOL! ;)

...Now that we've whipped 'em out for a (ahem) measuring contest...! :D:D:D LOL, guess I should let this thread get back on track, huh? :o :)

:D

Dinokay, a long lost brother just pops up.
1/4" thick
19 5/8" overall
Just over 14" from tip to slabs.
Some of the nicest Giraffe bone I have seen IMO.

.

Those values were good about 4yrs ago, they are selling at about $300 - $400 less now........................

.

What he said...The knife I always wanted for years and could never touch was a Jungle Assault, I bought one about a year and a half ago for $800 bucks, half price.
You should get a Battle Mistress or maybe a Chuckette'

If you just want to try out a knife or two, I will send them to you if you pay shipping both ways

You have to get a SFNO "special forces natural outlaw" a FSH "fusion steel heart" the ASH1 is a good busse, BATAC "Badger Attack tactical" is a good carry knife. you already mentioned the NMFBM.. But for survival, all the above would work fine.
The most sought after Busse's are all military models whose names can not be mentioned :)
The one on Bussecombat.com right now is an incredible looking fighter.. spend that money!
Here are a few options.. "notice the tactical black G10 on jungle green" a great combo

Could someone please tell me what each of these knives is called please

Thanks
Gav

Yea I think I would have to say the SK as well. Then I feel just about any of the choppers .250 and up. Funny that a lot of the newer FFBMs w/ the serrations seem not to move to fast but the plain edges still go out the door pretty quick.

from left, basic 11, bwm cg, cgfbm, fsh, nmsfno, sfno, ash1, tankbuster, batac and active duty. With exception to the first one (b11 has res-c handle) All have jungle green coating and either black paper micarta or black G10 slabs

As for the OP...

I'd say just from sniffing around here the most sought after models are hands down the M/BM variants followed by the Basics.

My personal wishlist has a SAR 8, SFNO, and maybe a BM variant on it.
