Most useful (yet practical) Swiss Army Knife?

Which SAK do you personally find to be the most useful, balancing capability with practicality/ease of carry? You can choose from any of them, just would like to hear your thoughts as to why you chose a particular knife.

For me, I always have a classic SD or mini-champ on my keychain, and a cadet in my pocket. Sometimes I’ll carry a Spartan but if I had to pick “useful yet practical” in one knife, I’d go with the mini-champ. It has all of the essentials in a tiny package. I have the alox, but the version with tweezers and toothpick might be more “useful”.

Which would you pick?
Classic always in bottom of pocket.

I've been carrying a Cybertool S (formerly known as the 29) for about 20 years now. I've swapped the flathead/#2 phillips with a T7/T6 Torx bit, as so many knives these days use T6 for handle and pocket clip screws. I'm on my 2nd knife since I essentially wore out the first.

I can't tell you how many times I've "saved the day" or at least just simply helped others or fixed things at work (and home, of course) with the bits on this thing, as well as the other tools (especially the jewelers screwdriver). Eyeglasses and sunglasses, loose knife screws (especially pivots, usually on MTech level crap), equipment at work, etc. Mostly though, I just fix my own stuff; with the Cybertool I usually don't have to wait until I get home to fix it. And even though I almost always have a pen with me, even if I don't, I probably still have this knife with me, and it has a pen.

Excuse the dirty 4am bad lighting cell phone pic.

My go to travel SAK; the Midnight Manager.

I saw a post somewhere that showed a pocket clip used on an Alox model. It was put on with double stick tape. Something like that would make me want to carry my Pioneer X more. Anybody have a hint on where to get a clip like that?

thanks, Jim

I like big , but this one is right at the edge of just too fat handled for my small side of medium sized grip .

Makes me smile , just to "transform " the nice big scissors , which are huge for a SAK but fall short as pruners . ( detailed in video )

Not very practical for most folks .

So I have used some of these cheap KeySmart Nano clips before. They are intended to be used with a key ring but I got some superglue and just stuck it to the side of the Alox scales. Seemed to do okay until one day I got caught in the rain and then had to go back in and glue it back on. Maybe a more secure apoxy would work better here but if you are just looking for something to secure to the sides of a SAK this could do the trick. If not, they are near dirt cheap.

No problem for you :) I have sixty and still going (definite addiction). You need to add a Tinker; need a Phillips besides the little bitsy mini-champ.
Daaaang 60? Well one of my Spartans has a Phillips instead of a corkscrew… at least I think it’s a Spartan? I’m not certain.
