Movies recommended for knife nuts.

there's a famous fight with david carradine. They fight with big bowies, while they hold with their lips a long handkerchief wich connected them.

The movie " Exposure" with Peter Coyote is a classic.

One of my favorite knife movies has to be "The Hunted" Both Benicio and Tommy Lee demonstrate some nice Sayoc Kali skills. If they retained at least half of what they learned on set.....

More like a razor, my daughter made me watch Sweeney Todd, that movie had much wicked blade use..

There's a fairly short, but wicked knife fight scene in a Korean movie called The Man From Nowhere. The Raid(aka The Raid:Redemption) has a pretty amazing fight scene with the protaganist wielding a knife and a nightstick against a number of of attackers, before later fighting a gang of machete wielding thugs hand to hand.

That was a cool movie!

"EXPOSURE" is on Netflix as is "THE HUNTED".

For a REAL OLDIE see if you can find "THE IRON MISTRESS" with Alan Ladd, I think it's 1952, the year I was born. It's a Hollywood epic of the book by the same name telling the story of Jim Bowie. Can't even begin to guess how many knife makers were inspired by that movie. Saw an original Cooper model of the Iron Mistress at the OKCA knife show several years ago. The movie played on the Retro Channel a couple of years ago and I made about six copies of it. I still have the VHS copies I made of it several years ago pre-dvd.

By all means, if you can see "THE HUNTED" do so! Some of it was shot right downtown Portland Oregon. This movie has special memories for me as there's a scene where TLJ is chasing BDT through a Portland business park with a bunch of fountains. Several years ago I actually had an encounter with three skateboarders there. They seemed to think that I would be willing to contribute to their personal investment fund. I convinced them I wasn't interested.

There's another movie titled "THE HUNTED" with Christopher Lambert, the guy who did "HIGHLANDER". Lot's of sword action in both of these.

If you liked Liam Neeson in "TAKEN", you might want to catch him in "ROB ROY".

The 2 scenes I mentioned earlier. Both ARE very violent, so on the unlikely chance any of you here are squeamish, be advised.

Final fight scene in The Man From Nowhere. Starts with guns, ends with knives.

Oh yeah! Man from nowhere was an awesome movie. I haven't seen that one in a long time. Thanks for reminding me!

New movie Burt Wonderstone, Jim Carrey has a pocket knife in one scene. Cant recall what it was though :(

I'm sure someone has said so by now,I didn't read the whole thread, but the hero in "Olympus has fallen" is a bit of a knife user to say the least. I don't think there is any in the trailer though.

I Don't want to give any spoilers, or I'd give a quote which I think would be appreciated on this thread.
