So its already been three days into 2024 and no talk/banter of this year's forum knife?? Well, its obviously impossible to satisfy everyone, but anyone hoping for at certain manufacturer to do a knife this year? A particular pattern you'd like to see? Why not dream a little here...

As for me, I'd like to see a GEC #98 Texas Camp or a GEC #35 Beer & Sausage Bar Tool (with beard comb) or a Buck 111 with bone scales... since I'm dreaming.

I'd like a really nice pen knife. Maybe like 3 5/8(ish) closed. Clip or spear and an opposing pen with one spring. Some really nice smooth bone. (Or stag). Rat tail bolsters. Equal end or maybe that stockman shape. Ooooooo yeah! ,

Well, considering that many people here really like Case knives, and given how much drama a BF GEC brings as an "opportunity to easily purchase a GEC knife", I would humbly suggest a Case for BF 2024 knife.

I've approached Case many times over the years; I swear you have to know someone for them to even listen to you!!!

Or for something different maybe a laguiole from a French cutler.

You see, that's exactly what the problem is. People register on BF without an intention to actually chat about knives, start ramping up the post count to meet the required parameters to be allowed to buy one, and then vanish, leaving a trail of senseless posts. Or sometimes they stay and try to act like it wasn't only about buying a GEC, keeping with meaningless posts, which is even worse in my opinion.
