There’s no perfect system granted, and the mods do their best to address this.

But to me it’s smacks of pretentiousness to want GEC to remain exclusive - no personal insult intended I promise you. I personally wish they were more readily available and had no aftermarket value beyond the original cost. Good quality knives should be available for all, particular if you want to use one. For me, trying to find a 620320 to use as an actual whittling knife has been a royal pain in the butt!

They're already missing out on everything this community has to offer.

Why should we suffer too?

Personally, I'd like to see a big, fat 4-blade congress with some gnarly jigged bone...

... or a big 'ol 23 with some slabs of super gnarly stag...

... Texas camp is also a fine suggestion, as long as it's big - and gnarly.

I'm starting to realize I have a type... big and gnarly. 🤣

Of course, a very refined smooth bone (or exotic wood, or stag, or...) lambfoot would also be a winner.

I haven't bought a Case knife since the early 90's. A stockman, that was my only pocket knife for about 20 years. It served me well and I was content with it until I got out of control.

Ive heard Case quality is hit or miss today. Its a shame because when I was a kid, thats the brand you wanted

But they are not "exclusive", everyone can buy them. Availability is another question. BF knife is exclusive, actually.

People say that they've been improving lately and it's more of a hit than miss. Haven't checked that myself though.

I don't understand, has this been a problem in past years? This years BF knife has been available for a long time and theres still some left. Sure its gone up in price a bit but still very reasonably priced and available.
