MT21P - Mule Team Fixed Blade with CPM 4V

Guess Spyderco.com was being slammed hard when the MT21 first went up. ;)
I guess I'm too used to scrambling for extremely limited quantities - I went in a full hour late, had no problem worth mentioning, and received my ship notification.

Factory store mentioned that there were around 1,200 of these made. I got mine. :D

I've got my order in too. :)

I think that there may have been a little overenthusiastic purchasing going on at 09:00 (MDT) as I had some initial difficulties.

Sat back for an hour and all went through with no problems, ordered a Temperance 2 sheath to offset the shipping charges.

Just a waiting game now as I've had my order sent to a friend in FL. You'll all get yours much faster than me. :(

I do so enjoy my Mule team blades!

Thanks Sal and all the team for this most excellent idea.

Here's a few teaser pics! :D

ETA: I've had a few PM's about ths already today. These are Taichung, Taiwan manufacture.

I'm hoping there are some left when I get paid. There is no way I'd let this one get by intentionally. This steel is solidly in the category I like chemistry wise and performance as well.

If there are any left I'll do my share. I'm glad this wasn't too small a run. That was a good call.

My first thought was this knife will take a while to sell out. Heck, there are still MT20's in stock. I don't think the craze is like it used to be. I have 3 so far and I just need one more to complete my steak knife set :)

I think buyers go in cycles but WRT the mules I think people get ideas about what the steel is and they decide if they want it or not. All you have to say somewhere is "like D2... " and suddenly nobody wants it.

Anybody know what hardness they went with? I haven't see it listed. (Mine will be delivered today)

Got mine.

Hands down, THE sharpest factory edge ever! Phonebook paper? pffft! Part of the edge even managed a decent push-cut. Kudos to whoever finished this!

My first Mule and first Tiachung blade. I am impressed.

I would be curious as well, got notice that my two will be here tomorrow. Have some of Bills crazy wood that should look nice on one of these.

To answer the ease of corrosion I'm going to use mine without gloves or a handle. If my hands don't corrode it in short order it's fairly stain resistant
