thanks for the kind words , seriously , but in all honesty , the kids deserve the credit

I know more than a few around these parts who at first called us all kinds of idiot for taking it on and warned us with horror stories about what would happen , now they simply envy me a lot :) , to make it harder for them , their own kids tell them that they wish they were foster kids and could do the things my kids get to do ...
I get to have fun everyday with the kids , its not that Im doing something special , its more that other people just havent worked out the good times waiting to be had :)

Good shooting! My brother and I took up archery when we were kids, but we didn't keep at it long enough to develop much skill. The only rabbit we ever got was when my brother hit a blacktail jackrabbit through both ears. The jack took off running only to get tangled up with the arrow in a barb wire fence when he tried to cross.

I recognize that section of the Colorado, except I was there in Nov. and, judging from the color of the water, you were there during the spring run off. Do you go rim to rim and back? My partner and I went down South Kaibab and back up Bright Angel. Maybe next time we'll check out the north side.

I believe the archery shot is the oldest one posted so far. That's you right, sometime in the 70s?
