Multiple EDCs

I have a small sebenza in a belt sheath, an SAK farmer in my front pocket, and an izula in my bag 95% of the time. I also have a swisstool spirit in my bag as well.

Just ordered the KSF pocket sheath, so soon I'll be able to have the izula and SAK sheathed in my pocket.

Whoever dies with the most toys wins :)

I carry two just because I like having a clean blade for food and a dirty blade for boxes(tape glue) and other things. Plus my food blade is an Izula so in a pinch it would be a good survival knife. My dirty blade is a SAK Farmer which is also good to use around sheeple. I carry my wallet front left, keys and SAK front right, and my Izula horizantal(sp?, it's early:)) in the front on my belt.

I often carry several knives.

I'll carry a "sheeple" knife, which is usually a small Case stockman or similar for loaning to non-knife people so they won't wig out. It's carried back right pocket.

I'll carry a large folder, like a ZT MUDD or a Spyderco Gayle Bradley, which is my normal work knife for use around our place. These knives are for heavy cutting and not for delicate use. They are carried by clips in my right front pocket.

When in town I will also have an SD knife on me, which no one sees. It's normally a fixed blade carried at the waist.

I carry a Spyderco paramilitary clipped to right front pocket. A slippie in my back left, sometimes another on in front left pocket. There is always a Leatherman charge on my belt. What do I use them for? Some days, absolutely nothing. I just like having them. They are always ready when I need them. I am happier with my entourage. So, I use them for a state of mind.

I carry my Ingram Short Spey everyday in my RF pocket. I usually I add my a spydie or Simonich neck knife to my carry also.. It really all depends on what I am wearing and my mood. It also depends on my planned activities and who I know I am going to be with/around. My tenacious rides alot with me if the father in law is around. He has no appreciation for fine knives and if he wants to use a knife that is the one I always hand him. Weekends when I am wearing Jeans you will almost always find my Krein PSK, OR Dozier K9 on my belt neatly hidden under my shirt.

I usually carry one thin blade for extra fine cutting and one little sturdier for "abuse" (that never really get's any use). And why not having two blades? In case something happens for another one.. :D

I always have a Sodbuster, Jr, or similar in a pants pocket, watch pocket for choice. That's all I am likely to need indoors. My outdoor coats all have larger folders in them. It's outdoors that I am likely to need a large knife, but I don't need to carry it around all the time.

I have sometimes pulled out 5 knives from my pockets by the end of the day. I always have a Benchmade Rift clipped to my right front pocket. I have a Salt 1 that I use as a money clip loose inside my left pocket with keys and other assorted items like a lighter, leatherman micra, chapstick, swiss tech mini pliers, change, pill container, etc. I will clip another knife Inside Waist Band (IWB) just to the right of my zipper so that I can rotate through my other knives. These are usually always with me.

Sometimes I will pick up another knife or two through out the day and they either get clipped into my front left pocket, a back pocket, or to a cargo pocket if I am wearing cargo shorts. I also carry either a Taurus titanium 38 revolver in my front right pocket or a Kel Tec PF9 9mm semiauto with a round in the chamber with pocket clip inside RF pocket or clipped IWB to the left of zipper. I also have either a Fenix P2D or a AKOray K-106 flashlight next to my wallet in the right rear pocket. Samsung Moment touch screen w/ GPS cell phone in left rear pocket.

Sometimes a friend will get me to do a pocket dump because it is pretty amazing what I carry around in a pair of jeans. Well they think it is funny but I call it being prepared. Yes it is probably not necessary but I like my knives (and other stuff), they make me happy, and I probably have some sort of problem. :D:D

I always carry two. My Victorinox Hiker is in my left rear pocket, right alongside my wallet. My small fixed blade is in a pocket sheath in my right front or left rear.

I have carried he same combo for almost a year now. The SAK serves its purpose, and the fixed handles its jobs, ie.. if I need a true "one-hand-knife", or I am cutting something that could damage the SAK.

And also I carry two just cause I like to.:D

i always carry my SAK on my keychain, my BM 940 in my front right, my endura IWB on my righthip, and my becker necker as a neck knife.

I don't need more than 1 knife ,but hey I'm the knife guy ,I enjoy em.
At work I usually have a Kershaw Zing clipped to my left front pocket a small folder in the bottom of the same pocet and a Vic Classic on my keys.
A hunting or fishing trip calls for a sheath knife and a multi tool as well.
I'm also a sucker for anything made by or given to me by a freind or loved one.
Tomorrow I'm going to the Keystone Blade Show so I'll have at least 6 on me.

I CC a firearm, so I have a FB on my weak side & it's solely for SD in reference to the firearm. I typically carry a folder clipped to my strong side front pants pocket for use at work or while alone. I also have a slip-joint (Usually a custom or something nice) that'll come out when I'm around the sheeple so as not to attract attention to myself. Again, that depends on where I am as my work is not "anti-knife".

I think this is a reasonable question. I carry two knives generally:

1) A Case Trapper just in case I might need to use a knife in front of people and I don't want to alarm them.
2) An XM-18 because it's my favorite knife

I could probably get away with EDCing just the slip joint on most days, but it wouldn't be as fun. I'm not fooling myself, I don't need my knives all of the time, but they tend to come in handy in strange situations and they're fun to own.

SAK in my front left pocket as my sheeple friendly knife and it sees the most use since I'm normally around sheeple.

Swisstool Spirit right side on my belt, mostly for the pliers and tools.

Leatherman Micra on my keychain for the scissors mostly since they are better than the SAK scissors.

And in my front right pocket I rotate around my tactical folders. Normally have a different one everyday until I reach the end of the rotation.

I usually carry a Spyderco clipped in FRP, a Case or GEC slippie (Or small Spydie) in watch pocket, and a SAK LFP. The Swiss Army knife doesn't really count, though, because I only carry it for the tools and not the blade -- if they made a bladeless version with bottle opener and scissors, I'd carry it. Different knives for different purposes and environments.

I have a SAK in a leather holster on my right hip - Victorinox Cybertool
This is sheeple friendly (doesn't upset non-knife people) and it also has a bunch of useful tools. The small blade is what I use when I want to open a box, keeping the large blade clean. Both blades are kept 'shaving sharp'.

I have a Leatherman Wave in a leather holster on my left hip. This also has useful tools as well as a serrated blade and a blade with a pointy tip.

I have a Leatherman K502x in my inside jacket pocket - one handed opener with a pretty strong blade.

That is my EDC and I enjoy knowing that I am well prepared for whatever I am likely to encounter on any working day. Of course when I go camping I carry much more - but day to day I don't need a fixed 9" blade knife.

Jackknife hit the nail on the head for me. I could get along with one small pocket knife, but I'm a knifenut and I carry at least 2 folders, usually a one hander and a slip joint. When not at work I typically have a fixed blade on my belt too. I love knives!

Thanks for all the info and opinions, guys. Appreciate it. Due to just the amount of things in my pockets, i'll probably just keep carrying my gpas knife. dont know what it is, dont use it very often, but its something i place a great deal of value on.
