From your previous posts I thought you were satisfied with it. Oh well if it develops lock rock only out $ 57. of entertainment, so far seems tight.
Jill Jackson, I'm more a frame lock type so the thin liner lock and what you have said relegates this knife to house and light duties only. Sorry OP, didn't mean to hijack your thread.
this is why ive been hesitant to buy anymore framelocks, even high quality ones can slip.
I have two SnGs and they are flawless and rock solid. Both new buys.
I know there's a lot of Strider hate on these forums. It even kept me from buying one in the past. I'd just like to say that was a mistake. I've had Striders and CRKs, etc, and I'll take a Strider anyday over the overpriced, overhyped Sebenza. Heck, I'd take a Spyderco over one.
Give it a bit of time and they'll develop some lock slip. You say that Sebenzas are overhyped and overpriced but at least they're designed correctly. I've owned both and the Sebenza never once had any lock rock but the lock on my SNG slipped like no other. I still enjoyed using my SNG and I really like the design of the knife but their lock geometry really needs work, especially at the price they charge.
Why so much Strider hate? I know they aren't Spyderco but why all the hate? Is it because of the owner of the company?
First of all Strider does not mention anything about not wanting to deal with USPS on their website:
