My 3 week old Strider SMF has lock rock!

Lock is late is not a warranty problem.
Lock is sticky is very normal with frame locks. Break it in.

If lock up was solid I personally don't see any problem with your knife.

It's broken in, you would think strider would leave some kind of comment like you did instead of just sending it back with no explanation. They also had my e mail and telephone number and received 2 emails over 2 weeks to reply too. No matter how you cut it poor customer service. I'm a small business owner and if I treated my customers the way they handled this situation I would have a lot of bad reviews. It is what it is.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, I'm glad all the others got good service from strider.
 
I agree Strider does a poor job at email and phone communication and they would benefit from assigning someone to deal with customer service. But most people who own Striders know that going in. They know if they send their broken knife into Strider it will come back fixed for the life of that knife. That's it.
 
Perhaps this thread should be closed. My original issue has been fixed, beyond expectation.

Strider made it right in my case.

Lets all remember that these are made by humans, and humans make mistakes. If you want perfection, look to God.
