Ah, Daisy,
The problem of the cheaper unauthorized reprints vs the
original very high quality first edition printings.

The original printing of my first series can be found on my distributor's
Website in the USA at: http://www.saviolopublisher.com/

It the case of my last two books, "Edmund Davidson the Art of the Integral Knife" (2008)
and "Tim Hancock The Western Bladesmith" (2009)
as well as all future books I shall do on Custom Knives, like "Knife Art" (2010),
NO CHEAP EDITIONS will be printed!

The last two can be bought directly from the knifemakers.
Or at the BLADE Show where they can be personalized by
the knifemaker and by the author (me :)).

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

I had the opportunity to compare both an original first addition and a reprint of David's "The Great Collections" side by side. Not much of a comparison. The reprint just doesn't have the WoW  factor.

This for me is a very sad story, Kevin, as I never authorized low
quality cheap re-prints of any of my books.

I also assure everyone that this will never happen again as I have
learned the hard way and therefore shall never trust the original
files of my books to anyone ever again, no matter what agreements
are signed...

All the best,
