My bk15 was delivered today. Ups driver doesn't give a crap about hiding things like a respectable person. Got home no box. Tracking says delivered. Awesome. I'm out $97 for express shipping and I got no mini mag. Fml. And ups. And the bastard that stole it. Enjoy my knife you piece of crap. Not that you know how to use it. I hope she dulls and rusts up real good and you slice a major artery you thief. You probably don't have insurance since your day job is lifting packages so enjoy tetanus and lock jaw. So much for a happy Friday for me. Now I got a little cash left in the knife fund do I get another or wait for Tuesday. damn I was really looking forward to the mini mag. My favorite blade, improved. Damn. Now I'm rambling sorry.

I would say do like me and wait... As much as it sucks not having a nifty new knife, just wait till tuesday (Pretty sure the SMKW FPR won't be sold out by then.)

Sorry man. That can't be fun. Justice shall run its course. Whatever that means...

I'd get in touch with UPS and tell them they are liable for a failure to deliver. I feel as though UPS includes some sort of insurance on their delivery. I know USPS insurance will cover just about anything if they make a mistake. MY GF sold a porcelain figurine one time online and they shattered it during delivery. They actually reimbursed her fully for the value that the item was sold at. Being that UPS holds itself out as a premier shipper, I seriously doubt that they'd not help you out. Make sure to call the 1-800 number instead of heading over to your local UPS store. The actual storefront of UPS is franchised I believe and they aren't helpful with these kinds of issues.

Also, most likely the retailer will either reimburse you or send you another one. Around Christmas I got burned by the UPS guy after ordering an item online. I heard the guy knock on my door and I took a look through my peephole only to witness him spiking the package on the concrete landing outside my door. I know how you feel. I really hoped that moron's hair gel randomly ignited and torched his face into a melting creamsicle. However, when I contacted the online retailer they hooked me up with a new item.

Already called ups. They said they have delivery confirmation from the driver and they aren't liable. I told em I won't ship with them anymore and they said well OK then goodbye.

I'd keep bitching at them. If the person on the phone doesn't help you, ask for someone higher up. Eventually if you are persistent you'll get someone with the authority to actually do something. A lot of the times the first front's duty is to turn you down so you give up.

that sucks big time brother, sorry to hear about things like this...I had an empty package delivered to my door two weeks ago...the Seigle that was supposed to be inside apparently grew legs in between Michigan and Maryland :( And since the sender didnt insure, I had no recourse and was out the knife I traded AND the Seigle, plus the PO cant do much since I can prove the knife ever even left the shipping state. Im sure the pile of crap that took her doesn't even know what he/she has...it's just a knife to them (I think that part burns my butt the most).

I used to work there. Was a supervisor in the warehouse. I called my friends still there and still nothing. And one is now the district manager. still nada. Not liable for stolen packages after delivery. However than driver is getting a word from my friend Monday.

Maybe UPS guy just said it was delivered and he put it in his pocket? As far as you should be concerned they did NOT deliver and ARE liable. Look around your neighborhood and maybe someone has a "security" (pronounced "SPY") camera that might have seen something.. I am finding that a lot of companies don't want the bad publicity and are willing to do what it takes to keep "you" as a customer. My wife ordered me a T-Shirt a couple weeks ago and when it showed up we were both REALLY disappointed with the quality, especially cause it cost $30 after shipping. She FINALLY called today (she doesn't procrastinate TOO much ):
"You should receive the refund back on your card in about three days."
"OK great, so should I just bring it to the PO to send it back?"
"Oh no, don't worry about it, you can donate it to charity or do what ever you want with it.."
"Really?"
"Yes..."
We are still in shock about it. Gonna keep it. Maybe UPS or at least the retailer will make it right for you.
I hope someone fixes this for you bro, and if not I hope whoever took it falls on it face first... :grumpy:

Did you check every place they could have left it? I know the UPS guy here will 'hide' packages if no one is up like under the steps, or in the back of the house.

Also ask the people next door if they have it or if they saw anything.

Darn (family friendly forum!).

Well, at least it's St. Patty's Day.

Drink your cares away. Or ... maybe responsibly them drink them down a bit (family friendly forum).

Well that SUCKS!
I hope you get your blade back,

Done and done. We don't have much of a front porch and its very exposed. My bk16 was left on the door mat. I just happened to be off that day and heard the truck pull awau

Get ahold of SMKW. They should have more pull with UPS with the amount of shipping they do. You should NOT be out the money on this. Get SMKW to call em too. Call UPS's 800 number and gripe. I used to do customer service for a major company and was able to get quite a bit done by getting hold of UPS customer service person and then asking for a supervisor.

Damn Clich, you need a double shot! Sorry to hear that man, but maybe he'll have a guilty conscience and hear the cops while he has it unsheathed. Then he'll run away, trip over a discarded pallet that he'd have torn /batonned apart earlier if he was a Beckerhead , then run the stolen blade through his chest. Hey, it could happen!
