My bk15 was "misplaced", then found, all is well

I didn't drag anyone through the mud. Merely stated facts. It was tracked as delivered and wasn't. Tracking even said front porch.. after calling ups they told me to pound sand. That happened. There was no mud by anyone but themselves. If they left it with a neighbor then tracking needs to state that (which is an option on their boards I worked there remember) they messed up twice. I stated facts. I still don't know how it got to my but I'm sure it wasn't becuz of ups good deeds.

Clinch,

And if UPS did not deliver the knife, who did?

Doesn't sound like SMKW did anything wrong. I'm also not a fan of UPS. Where I have an option, I'd really prefer never to use them ever. The drivers around here are incredibly unreliable. End of day to UPS could mean anything from 6 pm to 11 pm around here, and they don't even bother to ring the doorbell. They just come up and either throw the package onto my porch, or sneak up and leave a notice without bothering to attempt to deliver the package. Just this year alone, I've had to chase down the driver 6 times, and ask him why he's walking off with my package without so much as bothering to try to ring my doorbell or knock on the door. There's also no way I could have missed them coming, because each time I watched them walk up from my window.

Not all UPS drivers are awful, but the last 6 I've had have been terrible. Personally, I prefer to support USPS.

Yes, all UPS drivers, like all Postal Employees are not awful. Sorry you have had such bad luck with them lately.

My current UPS driver is a consummate professional and does his job well. I feel fortunate.

In this same town though, I once saw a 50 pound CASE of BLACK POWDER (which is an ATF controlled EXPLOSIVE and MUST be signed for by the purchasing adult at delivery) left on a LAWN by a UPS driver a few years ago. He violated a few Federal laws with that stunt.

.
I hope someone fixes this for you bro, and if not I hope whoever took it falls on it face first... :grumpy:
Screw that...a$$ hole first:eek::D
Clich I say you get out of the basement and nape the whole area;). Its doubtful someone came from out of your neighborhood just hoping to find some unclaimed deliveries. Its a neighbor for sure, maybe not next door but check the weirdo down the block, every block has one. The UPS should have left it between the screen and front door, or in the mail box or behind a pillar on the porch or in someway out of site and left the delivery sticker on your door so you knew to look for it. I always leave a note on the door that they'll see when they knock, but not that a nosy neighbor might come read and it instructs them to either open the front door and put it inside(in case I'm in the shower or something), or at least put in between the doors when I'm not home. They should be responsible if it was just left in the open for all to see. I'm really sorry it happened brother, but you know the thief will injure himself cuz karma ain't no joke;)

Yep. The one thing I really hate about UPS is that, at least around here, there's only one shipping hub in the state as far as I know, so if they decide to ninja an infonotice instead of attempting to deliver the package, it's not like you can pick it up anywhere remotely local. USPS and FedEX both have local hubs where you can pick up your package without having to drive 60+ miles for the privilege of actually receiving what you ordered.

To me? Dunno. Does ups deliver between 830pm and 1230 am on Saturday? They may have delivered it to someone else. Which if that is the case its still a failure to delivery to proper destination right?

I had a similar thing happen this year, but it was USPS, not UPS.
I ordered a ZT 550, and same thing, tracked shipping the whole time, and saw it change from "out for delivery" to delivered.
No note, no signature, nothing.
I live in Philadelphia, in the city, so I have pretty much a standing order of not leaving it on my steps, or with a neighbor.
Then, after 2 days of not being able to get anyone on the phone, it was just delivered to me as if it had never happened.

I hardly post here but because your story sounds much like mine from some time ago, I'll go ahead and drop my two cents. A year ago, I ordered two Leeson Motors (combined cost of $650.00) and had UPS deliver them. Somehow, the driver misread the address and left my package two streets over at someone else's home, though the house numbers were similar, the streets couldn't have been more different. I fought with UPS and they assured me that it had been delivered to my front porch and they could do nothing for me. Fortunately the gentleman who received my package had enough integrity to take the time to find my home and wait until he could personally hand me my box. It took a few days and it ended well IN SPITE of UPS. And this was not even close to being an isolated incident, I often get UPS packages for a multitude of my neighbors ( Up to 4 streets over) as they get mine. Mind you, I only use UPS due to some companies not offering any other Carrier.
