Your order was placed on the 2nd of May. On the 21st of June you began asking for your knife. That's 7 weeks!
No-one can make a knife that quickly especially when the Blade Show is in that time period as well.
Andre then decided after your badgering to cancel your order and move on as he knows from experience that dealing with someone like you will not end well.

You never sent him any money and you never received a knife. Your order was cancelled by Andre as is his right. He gets to choose who he does business with.

Since then you have hounded many local (South African) knifemakers complain about price delivery etc.....
Well guess what, the word is out amongst the SA makers. Good luck ordering knives going forward.

Insofar as your comments about my involvement with South African knifemakers goes, I have been collecting their knives for over 30 years. I know most of them as personal friends and I am an honorary member of the Knifemakers Guild of South African (KGSA). My reputation was built over three decades, you managed to destroy yours in a few months.

By the way this past weekend Andre delivered a few knives to customers at the KGSA show. All had waited for over a year for their knives including me.

A few years ago another butt-sore customer came onto BF complaint that one of the well known dealers had blocked him from his sales website. It turns out that like you he was a pain in the ass to deal with and the dealer cut his losses and moved on as was his right. He took some flak for it but it is his right who he does business with, just like it is Andre's right not to sell to you.

Hmmm so it seems that Andre has an ongoing history of this behviour. Your other comments I'm not Hons awnser read up . An like I already said I've bought knifes from people that appreciate me as a customer. The rest of your points are irrevelent. What's the complain again here Steven , let me spell it out for you "rudeness". Other comments of yours I'm not interested in of your.I have nothing to loose like Gareth bull who.was removed from the gluid. I will voice my opinion . And again after 7weeks I asked about the status of my knife not demanding anything so get your facts strait.

And please stop insulting customers with words such as Butsore etc etc we are not of the same class like you . Customers actually have integrity an dignity that needs to be respected . You very vulgar . It seems as You in the right click. And that's all I have to says to Andres spokes person. Lol

It's fairly obvious you don't understand what posting in this forum means.
I shall now leave it to the mods and members to enlighten you, as you seem to think that facts are irrelevant.

Complaining about people skills is fine, but I don’t think the use of “unethical” is warranted here. There are instances like if a person collects money and does not deliver a knife, that in my mind is unethical.

I just saw a YouTube video where a maker DM’d a reviewer and said he “would find him at the next show and knock him out” over a bad review of his knife. This would be unethical/illegal in my book.

Not selling a knife to someone should not warrant the use of the very strong term of unethical in my opinion.

Seven that is your view , it seems others might disagree with you an actually appreciate sharing my experience. But I'm actually glad that you leaving it to sensible people to decide and I'm glad the word is out. And again like.I said before I Will post my experiences here

And just to clear one more thing Steven as Ive stated above I relay don't want a knife from him any longer. Not after his rudeness.

It sounds to me like the only way to get a real consensus of who is unreasonable here is to post those emails. It could be that Andre was rude, or it might have been Jaklas. At this point we don't know, nor will we, unless screen shots of those emails are produced. This is the only time I've heard of poor communication from Andre van Heerden in several years of collecting knives (though I may have missed something prior to this incident).

That shouldn't be too hard, given that Jaklas just said he had the email records.

Or many some one is willing to share their email adress , I can email them my correspondence an they can post it here?

I'm relay battling to attach my screenshots , can.any one advise on how to do it . Or maby I can email it to someone who can then post them on.

You can put them on imgur. Once on imgur, they will have a forum link, and all you have to do is link that here and it should show up.

2 Images of the conversation from Jaklas.
