Hey friends in the traditional forum it's time for my first give away. I just want to start by saying there are more good people in this traditional forum than any other, and the generous acts I have witnessed here is something to behold:thumbup:.

Over the past year or so I have found myself buying fewer modern knives and more traditional's. My GEC # 15 single clip in ebony is my favorite for now or at least till the 2013 BF knife arrives:D

Anyway enough about me. Why don't we talk GAW. Anyone in this forum is elligable and up for grabs is any of my traditional's except one's that inherited or gifted to me. All you have to do to enter is tell me you favorite traditional and why. Sunday I will use the random # generator and let the winner have a list of knives to choose from:)

ooohh, a list of knives...I'm in for that, I can dream of all kinds of things that might be on that list

There's old and new and very old in the list:D you might also get more than one, who knows!!

My favorite traditional knife is and always has been the Barlow. To me it's perfect for any job that a pocket knife is called on to do.
Thank you for the chance to win one of you knives. I'm sure you have treated them all so well.

Not an entry--but I am glad you enjoy the ebony single clip, and I applaud your generosity!

I really like alot of patterns. I'm not sure that I have a favorite. Sometimes it's SAK Farmer, Sometimes a Sodbuster, today, it's the GEC Eureka Jack.... Then there is always a Leg Knife for popping tops. Please count me in.

I recently got into traditionals, and within the six months of hanging out on here (tradtional sub forum) I have read a lot about the different shapes and sizes of blades. I like the traditonal part somewhat, but what I was missing from my EDC was a selection of smaller blades (tools) that fit the application. So, for now, my favorite is the Case Peanut in CV. Thanks for the chance.

If I had to pick just one its the stockman.
I learned to love knives by coveting the 8OT stockman my grandfather kept in his desk.
I always found some reason to get in there when we went to visit.
My dad always seemed to have a medium stockman in his back pocket too.

Very good thank you.

My favourite knives ARE Traditionals because they offer so much in the way of style and choice. My favourite of the day is the one that matches my mood, whim or needs-Traditional patterns never fail here.

Thanks, W

My favorite traditional is my J. Oeser large gunstock. In my avitar.

Thaks for the giveaway.

My favorite traditional is my avatar knife, an S&M File & Wire English Jack with the spear blade reground to a Wharncliffe by Don Hanson III.
Thanks for the chance.

I just have to sign up for this. I can't help myself. Anyway, since I first saw Mack's (protourist) mini copperhead in amber bone, I knew I was going to have to get one. I did and it is my favorite small traditional pocketknife, the wharncliffe main does everything I need to do most of the time. And it is extremely pocket friendly. I highly recommend them. Here's a pic with two MCHs. I really need to get them all together for a family picture.

I haven't carried mine much lately because I have bought so many new and used GEC models that struck my fancy in some way. But, it is still a favorite.

I am in on this one. My favorite would be between a two blade barlow or two blade jack. Am partial to Serpentine Stockman as well. So guess my interests can be fairly broad. :D

Favorite...of the moment. My avatar a two blade ebony Charlow.

So far my favorite is a sodbuster, although a perfectly ground trapper is a sweet EDC. My favorite shape is spear, however, just don't own one yet. Ideally, something in a Zulu pattern.

Thanks for the chance!
